  1. Yes I should have said that, UX was definitely last year's game it just got pushed to this year for the localizations
  2. Technically we did not get a game in 2015, as KHuX was Japan only until april 2016. Otherwise, great points! I've thought for several years that it would be a 2017 game, I'm betting on a fall worldwide release similar to that of FFXV this year.
  3. Oh duh I'm stupid. It's because she's not sure what she's talking about. She thinks she hears "date escape" so that's what she says. I tend to forget most of this story considering it's about 15 minutes of plot and 2 hrs and 45 minutes of unimportant fluff.
  4. Personally I hadn't read the IGN review yet so I wasn't considering that. I know the game is gorgeous that much is clear. The camera issue does bother me. I've seen multiple videos demoing it and while I don't get motion sickness, it moves around enough that it would annoy me a lot. I'm definitely going to watch more youtube reviews and playthroughs (of the beginning) before I decide to get it. Regardless, I don't have the money right now anyway. I'm about to take out some fairly large loans for grad school so I'm not buying any games at release right now haha
  5. I believe Daybreak town is the only thing really taking place before BBS. (even though KHUX is technically in the realm of sleep) lol
  6. I've never played Star Ocean before, but I was really looking forward the new one mainly because it looks GORGEOUS. But I've been very discouraged by the reviews. It still seems to be a decent length (not a standard jrpg, but still decently long). The biggest complaints I've seen are the characters are boring and don't get you to care about them, it lacks in traditional cutscenes (which were a staple of the series and have been replaced with a lot of voiced scenes where you are free to move the camera around but it loses the impact, and the camera itself will move around randomly (and not just occasionally, it's constant - moving up and down slightly continuously as you play without touching the right analog stick) which is actually causing some players to have motion sickness. I don't have the money to get it right now anyway but I will definitely wait till it's a lower price if I ever do get it. I would recommend watching the first several parts of someone's walkthrough on Youtube, that will give you a good insight into whether or not it's a game you will enjoy.
  7. All the developers go around and look at competitor's things, if not regularly use them. Neil Druckman (head of Uncharted 4) was tweeting tons of pictures playing the new zelda demo as well as talking about how excited he was to get it and play it. Sony and nintendo execs have been known to say they use each other's platforms for various games.
  8. Braig/xigbar wears a more specific coat (lower shoulders) in the same vein that demyx's has pointed shoulders and Axel's has super skinny arms, versus the guy in the 2.8 video who has a more generic one like xemnas/riku/saix. Edit: plus the 2.8 video guy has a clearly different voice (somewhat unrelated side note, it's the same voice everytime he talks...)
  9. I thought d23 alternates years but on opposite years, I thought only US had one in 2015 and Japan had it in 2014. And I put the wrong title. I meant whatever that one Japanese game conference is that's in December. Sorry for the wrong info
  10. I'm pretty sure this guarantees it... I would be shocked if it didn't. Most Square Enix games are getting worldwide (or close) releases these days.
  11. My personal opinion is that based on that screen at the end of the trailer we will not get any KH3 news (sadly) at E3. Fast forward to D23 Japan and TGS and we get LOTS of news for KH3: multiple world announcements, character reveals for the different worlds, gameplay videos, and perhaps a release window (even it is as big as "sometime in 2017").
  12. Hahaha it's all good, you had solid reasons for your thoughts, its not like you were just saying that to be different. It really could have gone either way. Regardless, it looks incredible and Willa Holland is voicing Aqua again. Now I want to know the exact release date so I know if I should ship it to Ohio or Florida... Woohoo Grad School
  13. WILLA HOLLAND IS BACK AS AQUA MY LIFE IS COMPLETE. Oh and back cover looks glorious. This will be a marvelous collection. Btw, to the haters who said it wouldn't get a worldwide release... Better luck next time
  14. I gotcha. Good points. Hopefully we will find out for sure tomorrow morning!
  15. FF XV is getting a worldwide release at the end of September, Square Enix is not going to put up a game against it in Japan or other regions. I just cannot see that happening, which leads me to believe in a worldwide (or relatively close) release for 2.8, in a similar vein to world of Final Fantasy. We are getting a new trailer of 2.8 tomorrow morning so we very well might get a release date(s) like WoFF.And that trailer was from last year, it's been 7 or 8 months, th st could have easily done English voices for the additional few hours of 0.2 and back cover. 3D already has English voices...
  16. Seriously this is one of the most adorable games I've seen in a LONG time. I may not get it at launch (my fall game money is going towards FFXV and KH 2.8), but I will definitely get this game.
  17. With the announcement yesterday that World of Final Fantasy (side note: looks incredibly adorable) is releasing in late October throughout the various regions, and the fact that Square Enix released in that document a month or so ago that 2.8 was on track to release in the fall of 2015, that leads me to believe that 2.8 will release either in November, or perhaps early December like 2.5. Final Fantasy XV is obviously the main event this fall so Square probably put September and most of October off limits for other releases, WoFF is now end of October, so to fit in the "fall" category it has to be either November or December since they try to release their games at least several weeks apart. Obviously, we don't have an official date yet (though I am confident we will get one at or possibly before E3), but it is cool to see the release window being narrowed down! Thoughts??
  18. I loved it! it's my second favorite after KH2, though BBS is very close to it, I just liked the flow motion system better than the command deck system. Story is wacky at first but after you think about it a bit, it makes sense.
  19. I've still got all my booklets except the GBA CoM. I never kept the cardboard GBA boxes.
  20. I expect at least KH3 to get one, but honestly I think 2.8 will get one too. Considering 2.8 has already been once again confirmed to release before the end of 2016 in all regions, at most I could see a 1-2 month difference like 2.5 had. With KH3, if they can do a worldwide release with FFXV, they can do one with KH3.
  21. We are talking about Square Enix here... the company that lives and breathes cutscenes. I would be shocked if there wasn't some sort of an intro. Even KHuX has an intro. 0.2 will have one.
  22. Haha yeah I mean, nothing they can't work out in the 6 months till 2.8 and who knows how long till KH3, right?
  23. Also, look at the original article at the top of this thread and read the last sentence. KH should have no issues
  24. Disney could still pay for the distribution of the game even if their game studio no longer exists.
