There weren't any surprises, instead they showed things we already know about with the exception with some goodies here and there. Like showing FE:Fates English trailer and stuff.

Nothing new, no new games, just stuff we already know that is already going to come out sooner or later.

Starfox was probably the exception however, but even that doesn't make up with the lack of surprises.

They showed some of their biggest surprises on Sunday. Like I said earlier, I honestly think that if Mother 1 and Smash DLC were saved for the Digital Event, it wouldn't have been criticized so harshly. E3's more of a week-long thing for Nintendo, they haven't kept all of their surprises to just the Digital Event ever since they began using those as opposed to press conferences.
