  1. And really, if you're just searching for a simple temporary summer job, chances are the position doesn't take anything extraordinary to do (not to say that it'll be EASY, just not something you need years of experience to pull of). In that case, the issue you'll probably deal with is the volume of applicants also gunning for that same position precisely because it's easy to get into. The key here is persistence.
  2. I won't speak for all job postings, but depending on the position they might cut you some slack on the experience department if you can prove you have the right kind of mindset and are willing to learn. There's also how job postings can be accidentally written to make it seem like you need more experience than you should (I actually overheard a conversation about this regarding the postings at my own work place).
  3. Blow out the candles with the appropriate soundtrack:
  4. Wait you're a moderator now? What the crap how did I not notice this until now this is so awesome
  5. tbh clunky interface issues like that is one of the reasons I can probably never play Gen 1 again.
  6. Funny thing with BBS is that I love TAV dearly, but if you ask me to critically analyze the characters' roles in the story, I go eeeehhhhhhhh... and stop right there before I ruin things for myself (I have more fun with them in gameplay... and fanfiction). Gameplay wise, BBS is probably my favorite in the series. I love the command deck and the unique styles of each character, and the abilities seem reminiscent of what keyblade wielders can really do if they know how. They feel like badasses without being overly-acrobatic and flashy like in DDD and even KH2.
  7. Once upon a time, Disney and Final Fantasy got really drunk and decided to experiment...
  8. Too many to name at the top of my head, but in terms of Kingdom Hearts, most of the main cast, especially Roxas. Judging from my avatar and signature, I may sometimes have odd ways of showing my affection.
  9. That one day with the mission where you have to beat up a bunch of bosses in Twilight Town, because that world seems to have all the luck when it comes to Heartless attacks.
  10. zootopia zootopia zootopia go go
  11. Yeesh, don't even get me started. If I had to pick something, I've had multiple sources tell me that I tend to overthink things. A lot. It's not just about worry (I have some anxiety issues...), but also gazing too deeply into matters, or trying to think too far ahead, to the point where it becomes counterproductive. These days I have to consciously tell myself that I've given a matter enough thought and that it's time to move on. It doesn't always work. It feels like not overthinking things feels like I'm kidding myself or willfully ignoring the truth. I'm anal like that, I guess.

    Eww. White mages again.
  13. I never said I'd every part of you. When you say you're eating chicken, do you eat the fat or bones? Or the crust of a sandwich? (I don't like crust). Same thing for you guys; I won't eat what's down there.
  14. I wouldn't call Sora smart (though before later installments I wouldn't call him dumb, either), but I feel that his KH1 incarnation is where his personality is at its most balanced.
  15. Don't ask why, but I feel like eating one of you.
  16. Poo poo to the naysayers that say you're too old to play video games. As you grow older, what happens is that your priorities shift. For some people, that means giving up video games entirely, whether from being too busy or from a lack of interest. For others like me and many others in this thread, it just means we choose not to spend most of the day gaming because we have important grown up responsibilities to attend to (school, job, other important hobbies, etc.). You don't have to give up games completely, because firetruck that noise.
  17. No, I never played it. I just sent you the brain message.
  18. I wonder how many hours of possible world-saving Ventus lost because he had to manufacture ice cream with a music machine.
  19. When they said to take the medicine at night so my system gets immune to the nausea side effect, I guess they didn't mean "take it immediately before bedtime when you need to get up 5-6 hours later," because I'm still feel somewhat quesy. Hooray!
  20. Prooobably not. I mean, I could probably breathe on you and it'd stink pretty bad, but that's about it.
  21. The weather is warming up and this should not be.
