Wait a second now, the live action movie was a mess because Shyamalan tried to put too much stuff in the movie, white-washed the whole thing and didn't take Bryke's input. Bryan and Mike are actually going to be responsible for the series and promised a culturally conscious and non white-washed series. And since it's a series, they won't have a problem with putting too much stuff in it. Also, they're doing the show with Netflix which means they can get a VERY good budget a...

Pretty sure it was because of Ventus and Roxas' own heart. It couldn't have been Sora as Sora's heart was walking around in Castle Oblivion.

We haven't seen the whole scene. Who's to say Riku wasn't there earlier or won't join them after. Or just not be there at all without necessarily being dead. To be honest, I always imagined KHIII would end with Kairi and Sora watching the sunset together (a feeling that only got stronger when I heard the theme song) so I really don't think that has anything to do with Riku's fate. That being said, I wouldn't put it past Nomura to kill Riku in this game.

Oh, he's dual wielding...probably Data-Roxas then since the real Roxas would need 2 hearts within himself to do so.

Haven't seen any NPCs in San Fransokyo...I hope there's a hub area somewhere in the world with a bunch of NPCs to make it feel more alive.

Riku and Sora were sitting together on the tree by the end of KHII. Kairi wasn't dead. Pretty sure they're just FINALLY having a moment alone (long overdue).

POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD! Roxas appeared twice in the newest Kingdom Hearts III trailer. The first time, we saw him as a memory or illusion in the Big Hero 6 world, and then we saw something that looked like the REAL him in Twilight Town. Was that really Roxas and how did he return? I have a THEORY :biggrin: Exhibit A: How can we be sure that was really Roxas? The truth is, we can't be 100% sure, but we do know from this trailer that Sora, Donald, Goofy and the Twilight Trio are going to try to return Roxas to the real world by going to the other Twilight Town and finding his data. So Roxas would obviously return in Twilight Town and since that's where we saw him, we can assume that the Roxas we saw was either Data-Roxas or the real Roxas. Exhibit B: Let's say that was Data-Roxas, what would they do with him? Why do they need Data-Roxas? Well, Roxas' heart exists within Sora (confirmed in the E3 showcase trailer and in DDD...kinda), but it doesn't have a vessel to exist in. My guess is that they're going to use Roxas' data or Data-Roxas as a vessel for his heart. So the Roxas we saw will eventually become the real Roxas if he wasn't already. Exhibit C: Now why do I think they're going to use Data-Roxas as a vessel for Roxas' heart. I don't even have evidence that data can physically exist outside the Datascape. OR DO I? HA! We know from the BH6 trailer that data CAN exist in the real world as we saw the bug blox appear in San Fransokyo and it seems from that trailer that Roxas has not returned when Sora visits San Fransokyo, in particular because of the "Roxas memory" scene. Also, a lot of us in the community think that the norted Riku we saw was actually Data-Riku, meaning that Xehanort would've brought Data-Riku in the real world and used his body as a vessel for his heart. My guess is that when Sora visits San Fransokyo and sees all the data shenanigans happen with Data-Riku, he gets the idea that he can do the same thing with Roxas! An idea, confirmed by Ienzo in the E3 Showcase Trailer. So Sora, returns to Twilight Town to find Roxas' data and return Roxas to the world. Exhibit D: But Xemnas and Ansem said Sora would have to abandon himself to darkness for Roxas to return. I think that's where the famous "Key to Return Hearts" comes into play. We'll see I guess. Exhibit E: I do think that that was the real Roxas at the end of the trailer, why not Data-Roxas? Well, remember the KHDDD opening movie. Roxas appeared there alongside Ventus AND Sora, hinting at him being his own person. And he was wielding a Keyblade...what keyblade you ask? Oblivion...the same keyblade he's wielding in the Big Hero 6 trailer. Coincidence? I think not. So what do you guys think?

I think you can remove Aqua, Roxas, Terra and Ansem the Wise (Aqua will be saved, I don't feel like Roxas wearing a coat means anything, Ansem wears the coat to protect himself from the Darkness for all we know - although it would be crazy if he ended up turning against Aqua in the Realm of Darkness - and Terra wasn't wearing the coat so this could be a flashback...I believe Terra will be saved anyway). That leaves us with 13 members. So my list is: 1. Master Xehanort 2. Young Xehanort 3. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness 4. Xemnas 5. Xigbar/Braig 6. Saïx/Isa 7. Marluxia 8. Larxene 9. Demyx 10. Even/Vexen 11. Luxord 12. Other Riku 13. Vanitas BTW, Demyx's eyes were also yellow so definitely norted.

That trailer was...overwhelming to say the least. WOW.

The only reason the community is so excited is because of the suspense. Nobody knows when it's gonna drop so it gets people talking. A smart promotion move on Square's part tbh.

No problem Btw one of the creators of the show actually worked on ATLA as a writer and says he drew inspiration from it (hence the justified comparisons). They're also making a video game which I cannot wait to see!

I binged the whole thing in one night. Loved it. It's really good. People are comparing it to Avatar The Last Airbender and saying it's not as good (but still good), but personally, I feel like this first season of the Dragon Prince is superior to the first season of ATLA and I can't wait to see what they have in store for next season if it is renewed.
