I know they did, but there are glitches in this game that if it was released in 2005, it would, I'm exaggerating quite a bit I'm sure, the company would have to recall because there are definitely a couple of progressin glitches,. I'm just saying that with the inclusion of patching, game testing just isn't as much as a priority as it was back in the day, because now the consumers themselves have become the game testers,just look at FF IVX...,not that I'm relating the morppg division of square to the kh team.

In order for young master xehanort to gain the power of time travel, Ansem SOD had to travel back in time and make contact with his former self, by doing so YMX would inherit his future selfs ability to time travel, but from what ymx says, I think the rules of time travel apply differently to one who does not cast their body away

That's the price the gaming community has to pay now that everything can be Patched. Game developers don't have to put that much effort into their games since they can just "fix" them later. It's just a shame that my favorite series is going to suffer from this now.

After rewatching the traverse town cutscenes I'm kinda of confused by something. Did sora dream Joshua or did Joshua dream sora? honestly I hate this Through The Looking Glass crap, but since Joshua appeared in riku's side first, the side that is most definitely sora's dream, does that mean Sora dreamed up a god?

if KH3 was announced this year, i can only imagine how fast this forum is going to flare.

My votes on vanitas, for all we know, master xehanort's true plan for his 13th vessel was to extract vanitas from sora. Though if vanitas does get a revival scene, it better be in Kh3 or in a secret ending in a new game leading to 3

I'm leaning towards the HD remake for two reasons. A. The message was written in English in the Japanese game so it could be seen as a nod to all those who don't live in Japan, and the only thing KH related that the outside world didn't get was final mix. another reason is that Nomura has expressed interest in doing a remake and can actually count on the western populace to cough up money for a game we already have, as it will be aimed at newcomers to the series and so forth.

I agree, that secret ending added absolutely no new plot points.It wasn't worth me killing an additional 400+ dream eaters with flow motion

well thats kind of a given when it comes to the 2 guys 1 girl trope, 1 guy has to get the girl, but if anything riku can date xion or namine if its that important he end up with someone, though the relationship between Sora and Kairi is so heavily implied it just wouldnt be fair if they didnt show it.

you make it sound like Sora and Kairi have to "seal" the deal in order for it to be a relationship. they can be together in that sense and that is actually the implication that i got from the ending of KH2 with Sora going back into the secret place to find Kairi's drawing with the paopu fruit.

Personally, the ending made me wish this game never happened, but instead was simply a part of KH3 original scenario, where xehanort actually succeeded in taking Sora as a vessel, and everyone was forced to fight him and the secret ending showing Kairi would have been more badass because it would mean kairi would fight Sora and pull some Magical " my love will return you to normal" spell and after that *insert KH3 plot here*. i think i could wait 5 extra years for this game just so Kairi could fight Sora.

1. a keyblade tends to go to someone with a strong heart, and since Lea has strong feelings about saving Roxas and Xion i suppose he counts 2. Sora and Riku were still young because Sora was still asleep and even though Riku made it into the real world he was still a part of Sora's dream so he retained his younger apperance 3.Traverse town is a world that is tied to both darkness and light. so the realm of sleep and the realm of waking can coincide, though it is possible that Sora can simply summon dream eaters now from the realm of sleep (KH3 summon ) 4. Since Ventus is sleeping it is possible he saw the entire events of 3D and that was the reason he was able to save Sora from falling into darkness (but thats just a theory) 5. Nomura is leaving the entirety of the roster up to speculation, for now we can safely assume that Sora, Riku, and Mickey make up 3 of the 7 but after that.... it's up for grabs 6.Xigbar means that he has already taken in a part of xehanort's heart into his own he simply has control of his body rather than xehanort completely enveloping his heart. 7. there is a secret ending ( IMO it's not worthy of being a secret ending) but for standard mode you need to get 7 trophies and answer the three question at the end correctly , the correct answers having the word "important" in them 8. Yen Sid explained what it means to destroy one's heartless and nobody, but based on Prankster's Paradise i'm not sure if Sora still thinks of them as nobodies or not 9. Guaranteed a twewy world....debateable 10. well at first i thought by showing roxas, xion, and ansem the wise then Terra,Ven, and Aqua, that they were implying the number three, but after seeing Sora and Riku walk towards the light and making a roman numerial 3 im pretty sure thats what they were going for. 11. That was symbollic for riku's growth from KH COM to KH 3D. at the beginning of KH2 Diz asks riku his name, with Riku giving himself over to darkness he sees fit to take the name of the form he has so he responds to Diz's question with "Ansem". Ansem the wise never forgot Riku's name as that data Ansem was placed well after Diz met Riku. its just that Ansem noticed a huge difference in Riku so he asked his name symbolizing Riku's change.

*SPOILER* after rewatching the riku vs ansem battle in 3D i have a new theory. is it possible that the guardian is part Vanitas or atleast part unverse because at the end of the fight the guardian can be seen reaching out for something, that something being, i presume, Riku's keyblade. was anyone else remind of the scene where Vanitas attempts to reach out for the X-blade as it drifts away from him... just food for thought

well that was back during the good ol days of disney where there were actual lessons taught in their movies, but now it is nothing but gumdrops and rainbows and the bad guy usually ending up in a funny ( i use the term loosely) situation.

Well i don't know if a keyblade wielder who rely solely on light will be that strong *cough* Eraqus Aqua*. I mean as much as i hate MX (i love him as a character) he does have some pretty nice ideals of light and darkness needing to be equal in order for the World to take it's true form

Week before 3D go onto KHinsider to discover that Nintendo world is having a three day early release. First thought...SCREW EVERYTHING I'M GOING. call my job telling them im not coming in on friday-sunday and ask my two best friends to come with me to the event (i live in Maryland) bought bus tickets to New York. worse trip of my life, the buses were absolutely disgusting, but the thought of getting the game 3 days early kept me going. After arriving in NYC i went straight to the line an 4 hours later 3D was in my hands, but i promised my friends i couldn't play until we got back.

From BBS all the way to 3D, we have seen the birth of the guardian to its many deaths, but each time we see it it gains more prominence. So what i want to know is... what is it?

DLC in my opinion is ruining the video game industry, so i would appreciate that kingdom hearts puts it all there or nothing, excluding final mixes because director's cuts are a different story.

i try to ignore that stuff when it comes to continuity in kingdom hearts, but if anything it fits into Xeahnort's description of the World before the keyblade war and it is possible that the World is earth....but i doubt it

i wouldnt say that their personalities match their day one selves, Neku isn't nearly as anti-social and after wearing those headphones for such a long ass time i would be surprised if he didnt care about them. but my argument stems from the relationship between Joshua and neku. from joshua's perspective he thought Neku didn't consider him a friend, the only reason that would be is if Neku discovered Joshua's dealings in the reaper's game (which he didn't find out until the end of his respective game), but with Neku accepting Joshua as a friend this shows his endgame personality.

i thought that was excellent, i enjoy the parallels that Nomura does when it comes to the friendship between TAV and RKS,. with TAV when Terra wasn't given the title of master, his first reaction was a slight disdain for Aqua and Eraqus. but with Sora and RIku, Sora leaps with joy to congratulate Riku on passing.
