Ha Ha. Maybe Both!! Xander Was Pretty Traumatized

A man of about 30 years of age was standing in front of the BBQ pit in his enclosed back yard. He was grilling up some patties for the party. All his friends had been invited As he flipped a patty, a small girl burst through the back door of the house crying. She ran up to the man and he lifted her up and held her close. "What's wrong??" He asked the little girl with a concerned voice just as a 28 year-old woman walked out of the same door, holding a young boy's hand. The boy had a small, wrapped box in his other arm "What happened this time, Sky??" He sighed, but smiling a little. The little girl's crying quieted when she saw the 2. She was staring at the box "Big brother decided to give her the gift early.. " The woman replied "But then he decided it would be best if she waited after all, so he took it from her" "Ok" He said simply putting the girl down. "Hey.. you can go ahead and give her the gift." He said to the boy. motioning for him to come. The boy let go of his mother's hand and walked over to the girl with the gift in his hands outstretched. A huge smile appeared on the girl's face. All sign of her previous turmoil had vanished as she excitedly grabbed the gift. But she was unable to hold it, and it fell to the ground. Without hesitating, the girl dropped to her knees and started to try and rip the paper. Seeing she was unable to complete the task alone, the boy dropped down as well, and together they tore back the paper. Revealing a fairly small. plain brown box with the lid taped down. "Oh, let me get a knife.." The woman started almost turning to the door "It's alright. I got it" The man said as he pulled out an old, small knife from his pocket. He picked up the box and slit the tape on the sides and put it back on the ground in front of the girl. She knocked of the lid excitedly, revealing a small, pink, stuffed bunny. "Oooh" The woman exclaimed, "That's such a sweet gift for your sister" She walked over to the kids. The girl picked it up out of the box and pulled off the wrapping tissue. She looked at the stuffed animal for a moment smiling. "Why don't you give your brother a hug??" She asked, the girl looked at the women, and then scurried over to give her brother a big hug. "She loves it" She said to the man as she got closer to him "Karu picked it out" He replied. "You always say that" She said smiling as she gave her husband a small kiss. She walked back to towards the kids. She glanced at her watch and was slightly startled. "Xander, it's almost time for the guests to start arriving!!" "Woah, you're right I better finish up the burgers quick" He said as he started walking back to the pit. He was stopped by the little girl, she had excitedly run out in front of him, both hands raised to show him her new bunny. "It's beautiful!!" He couldn't help but smile at the little girl. "Just like you" He added as he pointed at her. She giggled and then ran off to play with her brother. As he walked he stared at them thoughtfully [i wonder who will come; Fulmen?? Yumi?? Locke?? Neisen?? Ember?? Lupus?? Ren??.. I sent invitations but.. who knows] He thought as he reached the grill "Either way.." He started to himself as he looked at his daughter's smiling face. "Happy Birthday.. Rasiel" End Xander's Story

Xander followed Neisen's lead into the plane. He joined the others there. He stole one last glance at the field.. Such an important place. It needed a name to Xander. [The Field Of Closing. That sounds right.. The final test for the participants.. of The Experiment] After that thought, he went deeper into the plane. Inside the plane he saw..

. He stopped and turned to their direction when Ember whispered in his ear, not yet answering Neisen. The joy Xander felt to see the girls he didn't even know bury Rasiel, was inexplicable. "Thank you." He said smiling, as a tear slid down his cheek. "I can.. move things with my mind" He was still looking at Rasiel's grave as he said this. But he turned back to Neisen. "And I'm human.. just like you"

"Ya.. " He responded to the guys. A few more tears slid down as he a blinked a couple times. "Thank you, guys.." He knelt down one more time and picked up the knife. He didn't know why, but he was gonna keep it. "Goodbye Joshua.. Karu.. " He brushed the hair from Rasiel's face. He smiled as he got a good look at her face for the last time. "Goodbye, Rasiel" He stood up and took in a deep breath. His tears had finally subsided for now. "Let's go" He said solidly. He wiped his eyes and turned to Locke and Neisen. "Thank you" He said to both of them "I'm Xander" He said to Neisen

(I Almost Cried )

Xander was sniffing as more tears flowed with Rasiel's words ".. N.. no.." Xander put his head down to Rasiel. Touching their foreheads together. He squeezed his eyes shut as hard as he could, but the tears still came through She was gone. "Darn it, Rasiel.." He whispered. "Darn it, Rasiel!!" He cried aloud in agony. After a few moments he opened his eyes. She looked peacefil, almost.. angelic. She looked beautiful. More so than before. "I'm sorry, Rasiel.. " He pulled the knife out slowely and then kissed her on the forehead softly. "You're.. welcomel.." He said smiling a tiny bit, his eyes still running "I'm glad.. even though it was a short time.. I'm glad I got to be yours.." He set her on the ground, his eyes never leaving her face. [she's in your hands once again.. Karu.. I hope I did well enough..] He thought as he looked to nothing in the sky "Thomas!!!!" He shouted "Please.. give me the body of Karu Kisaragi!! Please.." He hoped Thomas could hear him, and that he would do it "Can't you do THAT much??"

"Rasiel.. " Xander muttered when Rasiel started yelling and pulled away from him. He had been too busy watching Xi. "What are you.. saying??" He turned to her a bit dazed by everything that had happened. She was now on the floor yelling at Yumi. He had just now noticed the knife in her hand. He held up both hands, trying to plead with her "Raisel.. please.. put down the knife" His words got him nowhere. Before he he could react, she had stabbed herself with it "Nooo!!.." He yelled hopelessly. He dashed to her pretty much falling on the ground as he caught her from hitting the ground. "..Rasiel.." Tears were flowing from his eyes as he held her. "No.. no.. no.." [Why, Rasiel??..] He thought to himself. His heart was now in more despair than he thought was possible. It was broken.. "Please.. don't go, Rasiel.." His tears fell to Rasiel's face, blending with her own now. "Why.. why would you do this..??" He could hardly speak as he cradled her. He gently placed his hand close to where the knife was "I would've done anything.. everything for you.." [Rasiel] He closed his eyes as the tears continued, a bit softer now. "Don't you know.. that I.. love you..??"

He said to Rasiel while staring at Xi who had just made his true appearance [He'd come out just like that????] Xander thought when he saw Xi [He's a dead man now..] Then Xi pressed the button, Xander felt a tingle in his head "What the..????" He said to himself while putting a hand on his head After Xi explained it Xander was in shock, and a little disbelief {Rasiel..} He tried to send.. but it was no good. He couldn't send it. Whatever Xi did, it had truly rendered him powerless. He tried not to panic as he turned to Rasiel, who had started talking to Xi. "Rasiel, don't..!!" He tried to say before she threw the ball. But she was too fast, even without her powers, Rasiel had a pretty good throw "What are you thinking??!!" He whispered to her after the ball was sent flying He looked back up at Xi just in time to see him raise the gun He threw up both arms, trying his hardest to use his powers.. but nothing happened, he was useless to stop it. He could only look on in horror and guilt as the bullet went through Rasiel's knee "No!!" He shouted as he grabbed onto Rasiel. He tried to do it gently, so he wouldn't hurt her knee. He turned back to Xi. He wasn't scared, he was angry. He wanted to say something, but he could do nothing. He would only get them killed. So he bit his tongue as his eyes watered a little. He turned back to Rasiel "Rasiel.. " He said quietly [i should have done more.. I should've have taken the bullet!!] He thought angrily to himself "I'm sorry.. "
