I'm kind of weird in that I play the games I love once but I play the ones I don't enjoy more than once to try and squeeze some enjoyment out of it. It's why I am so content with one KH1 playthrough yet have played DDD multiple times.

I find it a little unfair when someone is labelled shallow/vain for preferring looks to personality. How is saying you won't date someone with such a big nose worse than saying you won't date someone because he's not the "lone wolf type" or whatever?
MyDixieRect repliedCertain businesses and industries (excluding porn and modeling) like art, food, computer graphics, the world of advertising/promotions or simply leaving the house and when first meeting others to name a few are when external appearances are important. Relationships are based on attraction, if it's physical then there's no reason it can't be deep. It will sure make both parties feel special which is key in relationships.
Koko repliedPhysical apperance is what draws you to somone, personality makes you to stay. Physical preferences dont make you shallow, they're just preferences

Apparently being big and extravagant in asking someone out is a form of mental and emotional abuse as you're trying to force them to agree to something they don't want to agree to.

Koko repliedyeah its definitely not abuse. it becomes abuse tho when the person asking harasses the recipient for rejecting them and starts trying to guilt them, etc.
MyDixieRect repliedYeah at that point I'd definitely have to call it abuse. Harassment to be a bit more specific but abuse nonetheless.
