Other roller coasters in Kingdom Hearts 3?
Yep.

Other roller coasters in Kingdom Hearts 3?
Nope, I'm not a fan. I'd rather Kingdom Hearts stick with Disney movie content and not branch out to amusement park rides. Edit: Not trying to be negative. To more directly answer the topic, I think they'll stick to the more well-know rides. If they really wanted to come full-circle they could have 'Star Tours' in there, especially now that Disney owns Star Wars.

What did you think of the new KHIII trailer?
When I saw the detail in Twilight Town I was taken aback in the best way. Seeing Kingdom Hearts presented in such a fashion is fantastic. BUT...here's the thing. I didn't see anything in this footage that made me say "I'm looking at a piece of the final product." It's just like the reveal back at E3, this stuff just seems like test stuff to reassure us that they are in fact making this game. It showcased the graphics, a bit of the combat that looks very KH-ish, and the ride...summons...things. It feels like the elements of the game rather than the game itself, if that makes any sense. And I'm not sold on the rides. I don't know what they're for or why they're there, but to me it's like putting up a billboard for Disney in a game that's already about Disney characters. There is no "ride world"; they're attractions in a real-life place. I just don't like they're presence in the context of Kingdom Hearts as a combat mechanic. But maybe they'll be mostly optional, or only play a small part anyway. On a more lighthearted note, how many times does the Rock Titan have to get his butt whooped before they put in the Lava or Tornado Titan? Or how about Polyphemus (the Cyclops)? Come on, Nomura, you have the whole range of mythological monsters from Hercules as bosses to work with!

KH2 or BBS?
Hmm. Hmmmmmmm... It's a tough one, I gotta admit. KHIIFM is the game my high school freshmen-self thought was going to come to NA when Square unveiled it bundled with re:CoM in the illustrious KHII FM+ bundle (and then it didn't, and a bit of myself died I think), so it coming across the Pacific is a definitely exciting. However, BBS remastered and retooled for console is all I've ever wanted since BBS first came out. I think I'll go with KHII in this case, though it's a close call.

Are you feeling more excited for KH HD 2.5 ReMIX than when you were waiting for KH HD 1.5 ReMIX?
More excited. Though the original KH hovers just slightly above KHII for me, I'm eagerly anticipating the Final Mix features. And for me there is no comparing re:CoM to BBS, that alone makes this remix a more exciting prospect than 1.5. As for re:Coded, I can take it's cutscenes or leave them. It'll be nice to have them I suppose, but like the scenes from 358/2 Days before it, they are a tertiary source of excitement when presented with the other content.

How do you feel now that KH HD 2.5 ReMIX has been officially announced?
Pretty ecstatic.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX announced for PS3, releasing 2014, containing KH2FM & BBSFM & Re:coded
*exhales slowly. Good. Very good. Very, very good. Fall 2014 though? That's a bit farther off than I'd like, especially since the NA version will probably be even later. That's my only gripe at the moment, still pleased as punch. My concern as well. I think if they specified it was the FM version that implies more "hey it's playable!" than "hey it's the cutscenes!", but I'm going to wait for some more specific confirmation before uncorking the champagne.

Have you already bought your copy of the new Pokémon?
Neither yet, since i don't have a 3DS, but this game is sorely testing that matter.

lets count down our favorite kingdom hearts games
For simplicity's sake I'm going to only put one version of each game. 7) re:Coded -Never played it, so it can hardly be my favorite. However, having watched the cutscenes I get the impression that this was essentially a filler game. 6) re: Chain of Memories. -The repetitive nature of the gameplay can be a grind. +In my opinion the card system actually works pretty well. 5) Dream Drop Distance -Time travel. Wtf, Nomura. +It's more Riku's tale than Sora's, and actually shows how his character has grown throughout the series. 4) 358/2 Days -Eh controls/camera, a bit too much ice cream consumption. +Adds background to each Organization member, I sincerely enjoyed the gameplay despite the DS's limitations. 3) Kingdom Hearts II -The refinements to combat make things a bit too easy. Oh, and virtually every character says "Sora, Donald, Goofy!" at some point. +Expanded everything in the KH universe, lived up to my fan expectations. 2) Birth By Sleep - Playing the same worlds three times in a row can get old. + Loved the combat system and story. It felt like KH got a bit darker/more serious for the older fans' benefit, while simultaneously giving a bevy of new worlds. 1) Kingdom Hearts - The original camera was rough. The 100 Acre Woods is a drag. + Honestly I can't NOT have this game at the top of the list; my rose-tinted glasses are pretty thick.

Do you have high hopes of seeing some new content of KH at D23 Expo Japan?
Not really hopes so much as moderate expectations. Here's hoping for 2.5.

KH2FM HD on PSVita
I already knew the story and have played KHII many times. I could sate my desire to replay the game now if I really wanted, but part of the fun of playing 1.5 was that I hadn't played the original game in a while, and it felt satisfying to re-experience everything with the updated controls and visuals. I found the Final Mix content particularly wonderful because it was "new" material in my favorite game. I hope 2.5 will be the same sort of experience.

How would you feel if Square Enix decided not to release KH HD 2.5 ReMIX?
Disbelief, annoyance, rage, sorrow, disappointment. Stopping at 1.5 would be nonsensical.
-
Is expecting KH news the main reason why you come to KH13?
News, and occasionally to see what forum topics there are.

Kingdom Hearts on Xbox
There are a few reasons from what I've noticed. The series originated on Playstation, so there's a certain sense of ownership there. If Square were to take the time to port it to the 360 then it would give the impression that they're taking the time to placate a segment of their audience instead of moving forward with the series or working on 2.5. Logistically speaking it would be more expensive. Because the 360 uses DVDs and not Blu-Rays, at least twice as many discs per copy would need to be printed. Controls would need to be reworked/rejiggered again because of the difference in button designs (a small part, but nonetheless a part of the process). Square would feel the need to put up another marketing campaign for the game's release if it were to make any money, which leads me to my last point. In Japan the 360 is a ridiculously low priority, and it's second-fiddle in the European markets to the Playstation. Square's perception could be that even if they did port it the audience simply isn't there right now; HD remasters and remakes aren't designed to draw in new people to the series. Kingdom Hearts awareness is probably pretty low among the majority of 360 owners, and Square knows they'd have to sell a certain amount of copies in order to be profitable. So while the KH fans who have Xboxes would buy it, that number might not be high enough to justify porting 1.5. However, what I think Xbox folks should hold onto is the fact that KHIII is multiplatform. If the Kingdom Hearts series proves it has an audience when KHIII is released, and Square says 'hey, we should put all these games in one collection', THEN I think there's a chance it'll come to a Microsoft console. An alternative situation is that they feel the need to raise awareness of the KH series on the 360 prior to KHIII being released. The only problem with that is KHIII may take so long to develop that the 360 will no longer be a console of importance. In any case, I personally wouldn't mind seeing 1.5 on the 360. The only game exclusivity that's ever really seemed natural was Nintendo's properties.

Well, see you guys in hell
Uh huh... First of all, 'lycanthropy'? Really? Parents shouldn't let their children become werewolves? Does anybody really need to be concerned about this? FORNICATION. If you have offspring, which you must've been gifted with by some genie or something, for HEAVEN'S SAKE, don't let them grow up and reproduce!

KH2FM HD on PSVita
I suppose anything is possible. As long as it doesn't take them as long to make 2.5 as it has to make FFX/X-2 HD I'm fine with whatever. On an unrelated note, they really need to announce 2.5 already; I just watched 358/2 Days, and I want to jump into KHII right now! I know patience is a virtue and whatnot, but come on, Square, get on with it.

Petition for KH HD 1.5 ReMIX to be on Xbox 360.
If Square was to announce it I wouldn't complain, but I think they should be focusing on 2.5 and KHIII instead.

U.S Government Shut Down
Indeed. I personally hope the 14th Amendment will be invoked, as such a crisis should not be used to wedge in the agenda of the minority party, or any party for that matter.

U.S Government Shut Down
This actually has happened before, 17 years ago. While it's bad, it isn't as bad as the upcoming debt ceiling, wherein if Congress refuses to authorize raising the ceiling the U.S. defaults on its debts, which in turn could cause dire harm to the global economy. This shutdown, bear in mind, was preventable. The Senate passed a clean bill to keep everything running which the president would've signed. It was the House of Representatives that couldn't get over its agenda, deciding that if they couldn't delay the Affordable Care Act then the government shouldn't run. Of course, the Affordable Care Act doesn't actually depend on the government running in order to go into effect, so they've damaged the country for nothing. Why didn't the Senate just let the bill with amendments pass, you ask? A few reasons: -The bill would've delayed implementation of the Affordable Care Act, a law that was at the heart of debate during two national elections in which the majority of Americans voted for its maker, President Obama. The law was also deemed constitutional by the Supreme Court. -In passing this bill the Democrats would've acquiesced to the Republican's, more specifically the Tea Party's, demands. This extremist group has been gerrymandered into power, high-jacking their own party and forcing them to take extreme positions just to stay elected. Instead of compromise, they're only interested in their agenda, and will not take "no" for an answer (see the repeated presenting of an amended bill in the past few days, the 42 times they've attempted to defund the Affordable Care Act before this.) Giving into their wants would mean a total disregard for the actual results of the past elections, in which the Democrats retained control of the Senate and the presidency. Even in the last election the Democrats received more votes in the House, yet somehow the Republicans kept the majority. Though the Tea Party and Republicans certainly represent the people who elected them, they do not have a mandate from the majority of the country. While it does seem like a bad thing, Congress's pay not being tied to legislative action is incredibly important. If their actions could influence their own pay, then they'd be able to give themselves raises at their own discretion. Remember, somebody still has to fix the situation, and the only people who can do that are the elected representatives.

Between the three games contained in KH HD 1.5 ReMIX, which one is your favorite?
I haven't actually played the others, but I know it's Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. I was hesitant to the changes that had been made, but now I've fully embraced them.

Got GTA V?
Nope, but it looks great.

Kingdom Hearts HD Makes Number One At Top 40 UK Charts
Oh man, I didn't even think about that. Square put it out just in time, didn't they.
-
Did you expect to see KH HD 1.5 ReMIX selling well?
I'm happy it is. PS3 owners have been hungry for a console KH for years, we'll take what we can get.
-
What are you expecting this year at Tokyo Game Show?
I'm not expecting anything on KHIII other than maybe a logo. I think we'll get more on Kingdom Hearts X and hopefully an announcement trailer for KH2.5. Really if anyone says the name "Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD remix" I'll be satisfied.
