Idk, but maybe something near-death triggers the Kyuubi to be forced to give Naruto chakra. Or maybe the Kyuubi wanted to give Naruto more and more chakra whenever possible so it could overcome Naruto. 4. Dude, they were kids, they didn't care. Naruto didn't know who his parents were or how they looked like, it was all kept a secret. I think all he knew was that his dad's name was Minato, not 4th Hokage, just a name. And I don't think Naruto cared about the resemblance either, he's just a kid after all.

1 and 2: Relatively unimportant and there is no answer as far as I know. Maybe someone else can help you there. 3: There's a reason the Kyuubi (9-Tails) is in Naruto in the first place... Did you not see how the Kyuubi became a part of Naruto? And how it is connected to Naruto? It's in Shippuuden. 4: Everyone was scared of the Kyuubi because they saw what the Kyuubi did to the village when it was at still in it's own form. They were afraid of Naruto because the monster that was destroying Konoha (Leaf Village) was in Naruto. They didn't really care that he was the son of the 4th Hokage, and they all knew it. They just had to keep it a secret from Naruto. and any kids in Naruto's generation. That changes in Shippuuden though, of course, as he (if only slightly) matured and got respect.
