rather than buying a 3ds capture card for streaming, i cheaped out and bought a 7 dollar webcam to point at my 3ds. lol im 15 i cant afford a capture card

i am LOVING splatoon. i have a few complaints (the major one being no voice chat among some other things) but i still very much like the game!
Shulk repliedNo, it's fine! I understand what you're saying. I still feel like there would be a lot of trolls, though. Just look at Miiverse. Miiverse has a lot of trolls, and I feel like giving them voice chat options wouldn't end well at all.

im.... at a loss for words. me and my sister were just playing smash and she was creaming me the first few matches, then i made a comeback as ness, i could tell she was getting annoyed (natural) but then she called PK fire OP for something it doesent do and when i beat her she stormed out of the room. maybe im telling this from a bias but thats what i saw. but maybe my judgement is clouded.
Sorual replied yeah. i agree. its all part of the whole "having siblings" thing. its an overall awesome thing.

It's really best for chaining other attacks (I got through dodging that potential pun pretty good!), like a Smash attack or a throw.Shulk repliedThat's true.
It's not as bad as a lot of people seem to make it out to be, though. Good spacing is really important.I've also noticed that aerial PK Fires are most effective, but they've got a shorter range.

so just asking to all of the people that dislike dlc, how is nintendo's dlc any better? it looks like the same thing to me. but i want to hear what you guys have to say. why is it different?
Sorual repliedwhy single software sales alone wouldent justify 500 million dollars) but it does came with the displeasure of the gamer. but perhaps its a necessary evil if we want games to evolve technologically. thats my 2 cents anyway
Shulk repliedYeah, that could be it. I just wish that some more games would try to make the DLC worth buying. I'll admit to having bought a few costume packs in fighting games, but I'd prefer something like what Mario Kart or Pikmin 3 does, where the DLC adds in a lot more content for a fair price. That's the type of DLC I'll gladly play.

i dunno if this is just me or not, but i think the 3ds is ter perfect system for fire emblem. it has just enough graphical power to make it feel smooth (theres no other way to put it), the second screen relly helps, and it just feels good on a portable console. this definetly wont happen, but i want all previous fire emblem games to be remade for 3ds using awakening's (and IF's) engine. then be sold as a compilation pack.

man. i really wish custom moves for characters in smash were unlocked from the getgo or easier to unlock. grinding for them is painfully menotinous and getting moves you already have is just frustrating
i love the idea of custon moves but i cant enjoy them if they are harder to unlock than the actual character. -

me and a friend watched the direct together today. i thought we couldent freak out more when mewtwo was shown but then lucas got revealed o.O holy shit he is freaking back! CHARACTERS ARE FREAKING RETURNING!!!!
Sorual replied yeah. smash desperatly needs a dual wielder fighter still, seven is a spoiler. (so much so that she got a freaking nickname) and a trophy is a lot less subtle so im not sure if it will happen. still want it tho

how awesome would it be if mewtwo came out immidiatly after the direct?
Shulk repliedI won't be home until 3 hours or so after the Direct (Lucikly, the Direct just so happens to be going on during my long break between classes), but I'd also be really happy if that happened.
Sorual replied hope it does! And I hope I get the code soon after. I imagine it will take a while for people to get the email. either way, looking forward to seeing mewtwo in the direct

this morning i heard that mario 64 HD was taken off the web browser. what do i do? i download it to the school computer (i was at school) before the inevitable takedown of that also happens. an hour later, its taken down. now i just need to bring a flash drive to school tomorow and copy the files, and ill have it.
