if a baby dies right after its born (god forbid) scince it didnt have time to decide what it believes, does it go to heaven or hell?
Caity repliedAccording to the religion course I followed at college, they were condemned to go to purgatory since nothing impure goes to heaven, and they're taininted with the original sin but hell is only for people who make voluntary sins so the child will be in limbo forever.
Caity repliedBaptism's purpose is to cleanse the person of the original sin we are all born with from Adam & Eve's sin, but obviously having a baby die before baptism can occur and telling them their child's gonna rot in Limbo never receiving salvation has encouraged an alternative teaching, that babies are saved through God's Grace and can enter Paradise.
Koko repliedpurgatory, and if you pray enough for the baby's soul, it should be able to leave purgatory and enter heaven

with my uncle and dd would be less wonamanizy. I really don't want to be Ike that but I'm always fraud of change so I gues it's nothing new. I also love cats right now but I'm fraud that one day I will think they are not as friendly as dogs. Witch most of them aren't but I don't want to think like that for all cats.
