What i meant was whoever the new villain is do you want him/her to have a whole saga or just one game

would you want another villain that sticks around for multiple games or just one villain with one storyline per game?

Thats exactly what i meant to say thank you I hoping they fix the pace by release if it is slow but this games been developed for like 8 years so I'm guessing they have a plan of some sort... hopefully

I hear ya and id totally want to see something like that but I'm still stoked to have this one it looks like it has everything the other style did right plus a new combat system. and yea idk if they've even shown the main antagonist yet square likes to give those surprises sometimes

but as you can see from the picture theres a lot of similarities in looks and feel of the world and personally I always wondered what an FF game with kh style(action rpg) combat would be like who knows maybe this decision will benefit the series

imo squares just evolving their gameplay I've played ff 4,6,7,crisis core,doc,8,9,10,10-2,13,13-2,13-3,14(not atm) and a bunch of other rpgs so i can understand how its not exactly the same as a traditional ff game which started changing around 6 but some of their greatest entries in the series made bold new decisions that worked out perfectly
