    Getting Splatoon in a couple hours. Should I start with story mode, or do a few online matches to rank up ahead of time and get some better equipment first?

    I went straight to the online matches, haha. I love the story though, but if you start the online matches right away, you can get some money to buy better equipment, shoes, clothes, and hats for your squid kid. x)

    Yeah, that's why I'm thinking about doing online matches first. I've also heard it's good to do the story first, and I want to go and use my Splatoon amiibo too, so I'm not entirely sure what to do first. xD

    Holy freaking crap my uncle and brother tricked me. They did manage to get me a Greninja amiibo, and surprised me with the freaking Splatoon 3-pack. ;_; This is awesome.

    @Angel I had planned to pay for the Greninja, and my dad asked my uncle to take my brother to Toys R Us since I couldn't make it at that time. They decided to get me both Greninja and the Splatoon amiibo as a graduation gift. ._.

    I've been hooked on a big crossover game lately, and this is a character in it who I was super interested in even before getting the crossover one. Just wish his own games weren't so rare ;_;

    Now that I've got Kite and BlackRose from .Hack in Project X Zone, pretty much everyone else is just an extra (Except for KOS-MOS, need the three characters from great PS2 RPGs I've never played).

    The new Nintendo Humble Bundle just killed my backlog... And my 3DS/Wii U space. ._.

    They've got Guacamelee (Wii U), Mighty Switch Force! (3DS), Woah Dave! (3DS), Stealth Inc 2 (Wii U), SteamWorld Dig (Wii U + 3DS), The Fall (Wii U), OlliOlli (Wii U + 3DS), and Moon Chronicles Episode 1 (3DS), with more supposedly coming soon... I went and paid for all of them. ._. So many games now.

    Mighty Switch Force 2 was actually really fun, so I'm looking forward to playing the original. I've heard good things about most of the others, and Stealth Inc 2 in particular interests me (Reminds me of Portal in terms of setting. Totally different gameplay, but similar feels in terms of setting).
