Most of the games from that time just had one person translate, and they weren't always great at it. It was common for text to be translated and unchanged, meaning it was just the literal translation which usually sounded really weird.

Yeah... FF1 is really tough. Sometimes, it's best to run from enemies that can inflict you with status ailments like that. If you want to fight, undead enemies are weak to Fire magic (I believe they were in FFI anyway), and there's a White Magic spell that does a good amount of damage to them too. I forget what it's called in the remakes, it's Harm in the original.

Akame - Karakura Town Just as Akame had expected, Totem Jack leaped into action at the first sign on retaliation. Thankfully, everyone else seemed to be ready to battle. Totem Jack aimed an attack at Akame, trying to hit her from behind. However, Akame had been carefully watching the battle up to that point. She rolled away from Jack's attack, then retaliated by thrusting her sword towards his chest. Even if he's tougher than the rest, Murasame's poison won't have a problem taking him down... Sarada - City Z "I thought you knew that I never learned those techniques, Boruto?" Sarada sighed. "We're partners, you should know more about my capabilities..." She then redirected her focus towards Gon and the others. Killua had mentioned that he healed quickly. So he's like Hokage Naruto, then...? Gohan's tale about being part alien didn't shock Sarada much. After all, she'd encountered people who came from the moon. However, Gohan seemed very experienced for a kid around Sarada's own age.

Looks like I'm the only one who doesn't think there are any really scary/creepy scenes in the series... Nothing comes to my mind.

- Rose - Rose noticed that a couple sets of eyes seemed to fall on her once she'd returned to the room. Do I really look that different without my armor on...? Rather than go to that topic, she shifted her attention towards Sol, who was grateful for her assistance. "You're welcome, Sol. I'm glad to see you're all fine," she responded as she returned Sol's grin with one of her own. Sol and Hanz both seemed focused on determining what Yuna's gifts could be. "If she sticks with us, I'm sure we'll discover what she's capable of doing soon. Few things help bring out someone's gifts better than a journey like the one we'll be going on." As the group spoke, a strange-looking bird belonging to Hanz also arrived. Interesting... It's made of Void, huh? It looks like it'd make an interesting art subject.

Anything but Command Boards. I think I'd even take musical Atlantica again, at least those levels went by fast. Command Boards were just long, boring, tedious, and too reliant on luck. They're the reason why I refuse to go for 100% in BBS.

Zion seems focused on only two, though, both of which are the succubi. ._. Sol's checking out three, on the other hand.

It sounds like Echoes is a remake-type thing of Gaiden, so I don't think there'd be much of a point to translating it. On the topic of Warriors, I was surprised to see that it's coming to the New 3DS too. I'll stick to the Switch version, personally, but still cool that it's coming to N3DS.

Fire Emblem Echoes looks really fun, not much longer until it's out, too!

That combined with the Yuna teases and now Dalian make a pretty clear picture in the end, though.

Sol's eyeing Rose in a little too much detail now, too... ... Sabre might not be the only one going for a harem anymore ._.

- Fiora - Eclaire's urge for Fiora to calm down didn't help much. The group as a whole seemed like people she could trust, but she still felt very uncomfortable around Lucia. The woman reminded her too much of the same one who took her father from her. Her new suspicions focused on Eclaire and Iris didn't help much, either. It seemed like it was time for everyone to rest, which would help her relax a little, but sleeping near Lucia and the others... she was still worried. At least she wouldn't have to come to a conclusion on where to go until tomorrow. As long as she wouldn't end up stuck with Lucia, she'd be fine... or at least she hoped she would. Fiora yawned. "I think I'm going to try to get some sleep, too..." She let everyone know, mainly Eclaire since they were both sitting on the same bed. - Rose - Looks like I've gotten involved with quite the interesting group... I'll be sure to stick around as long as they need me, the woman gave a little smile. "I agree with Sol, let's decide on our next destination tomorrow. We've all had an exhausting day, it's time to relax for now. Speaking of which... I'll be right back," she stepped away for a little privacy so she could remove her armor. It wasn't really a big deal given that her more casual clothes were underneath, but a little privacy was still nice, especially given some people in the group. She returned with her armor and sword in tow, now back to her plain green clothes. She carefully set her gear down before returning to her seat. It seemed like everyone else had already gotten to conversing or interacting with someone else in the group. It looks like they're all fitting in nicely, at least. That's good.

There are some rumors of a Fates port coming to the Switch, but I don't think that's going to happen. A teaser for the next main series game or a port of Ike's games (so people can actually play those without having to pay insane prices ._.) would be really cool, though. The mobile game was also confirmed to be a part of the presentation. Also, since the UK and Japanese stream links are above, I'll edit the North American stream link into this post whenever that goes up for anyone else who's in that region. They usually wait until just before the event starts, I didn't know the other regions set it up a day in advance. ._. I'm only seeing it on Twitch for North America... This is how most discussion threads seem to end up. And since I forgot to respond to this one earlier: how often do other people go for my characters anyway? ._. Hint: not very often. Unless it's Allitt, in which case everyone seems to go in.

Toonami still has a pretty big following, so as long as a good amount of Toonami viewers are watching JoJo on there, I think there's hope for the dub continuing.

Yeah, I'll just do that depending on how long it takes. Hopefully they'll start on the dub soon if Toonami's run of Phantom Blood/Battle Tendency does well in the end.

That might be why there isn't a dub yet... There are official subs though, right? If they could still get a company to subtitle it, maybe there's another reason behind the lack of a dub.

Toonami doesn't do the dubbing themselves, they just get the rights to air the dubs. There sadly isn't much they can do to speed up the process, we just have to wait for a dubbing company to get around to it. There also might be some legal issues with getting the anime to a dubbing company. That's what kept Dragon Ball Super from even getting official subs for at least a year, and the dub just started this month.

Akame - Karakura Town Akame was suspicious of Totem Jack's request for a handshake. With claws like that, I don't think many would be willing to pull that risk... It looked like the others thought the same thing... One person even went and launched an attack already. "Wait!" she shouted, but to no avail. We needed more time to evaluate the situation... This isn't good. She turned to her new companions. "Are you all ready to battle? It looks like we're about to get started," she warned as she gripped Murasame, waiting to see the results of the attacks that were just fired at the creature. Sarada - City Z "That's all of them...?" Sarada looked around, then grinned. "We did it!" She noticed that Gon looked injured and ran over to him. "Hey, what happened?" The boy seemed rather calm given the situation he was in. If my mom was here, she could probably try to heal him... "Would anyone here happen to have healing abilities?" she asked the rest of the group.
