  1. All I did was respond with an anime title, and I get the most amount of likes on a post that I've ever gotten. Huh.

Yeah, well I put the Pokemon Theme song with the Black and White Victini movies and I made too many views on it, :

  2. So I've been playing a lot of Smash. I'm still deciding on who my main should be. I'm thoroughly enjoying Robin, though I always mained Lucas in Brawl. Though when she comes out, I may end up maining Bayonetta. I dunno, mang.

You can have multiple mains. I've got like 7 now. xD

Yeah, that's true. It might take time to figure out who that is, but it sounds like you've got a couple ideas.

  3. Unpopular Opinion: I absolutely hate Persona 3 FES. Like, it's basically unplayable for me. I swear, if Persona 3 Portable did not exist, I would probably never beat Persona 3.

The only bad thing about Persona 3 FES is The Answer like that is the worst. The only difference (besides the console you play it on) between P3FES and P3P is that in P3P you can play as a girl and P3P doesn't have The Answer.

  4. Mark looked over at Lance after noticing all of the students already sparring. "Great going, Lance. You made us late!" Mark gave a sigh, looking up a bit. "To think...three days from now, we'll have to take the Page exams. But I'm ready for this! I'm gonna pass that exam!" He gave Lance a small punch to the arm. "And I expect you to do the same, Lance. Alright? Now how about we get out there and start sparring?"
  5. I myself have been thoroughly enjoying Xenoblade Chronicles X quite a bit, though 3D World is also a personal favorite!
  6. Welp, today ended with me getting a copy of Persona Q at a ramen place from my aunt. And I have to say, today's been a great birthday! It isn't quite the best I've ever had, but it's been soothing and relaxing. I got plenty of stuff that I wanted, and I made some pretty cool memories, too. It;s a shame it'll be the last birthday I celebrate at the school I'm going to right now, but it was still great nonetheless!

Even though the day is pretty much over, Happy Birthday! (Or rather, glad you had a happy birthday xP)

  7. Fred snapped out of his mumbling status when the twins spoke up, and turned to them. Fred has already at least seen everybody around, so he already knew about these two. "Oh, Happy? I see...yeah, that makes sense. Yeah, we can do that mission! And we'll be sure to do our best, right? We have lives on the line here!" Though it took a while, another though popped into Fred's mind. "Uh, wait, aren't you two too young to be doing something like this? It seems like it might be fairly dangerous. Do you have ways of defending yourselves?"
  8. Actually, I know what he's talking about. It has happened with me. I go to add a comment to a status update on the home/forum page, and the post button isn't there. But when I go to the user's actual page, I can post a response to their status there. So I don't think being blocked or whatever is the problem.
  9. So for Christmas, I got a $20 Nintendo e-shop gift card. And with that, I got a 2D platformer called Shovel Knight. I initially only played about thirty minutes of it before getting distracted by Super Mystery Dungeon. However, I've recently been playing it a lot more. And I enjoy every second of it. Shovel Knight just does so many things right in terms of what video games are capable of doing, and what many games don't even bother to do. For starters, the game has a great difficulty curve. It's starts off rather easy and somewhat simple. And as you progress through the game, the game gets steadily harder and complex. This seems like something completely natural for video games to do, but these days, it's usually either insanely hard stuff, or a difficulty setting with a static difficulty curve the whole way through. But with Shovel Knight? Nope. It presents its levels, and asks you, the player, to beat it. Not that the game isn't able to be played by everybody. In retrospect, the game is actually quite forgiving, but still punishing. Whenever you die, you get sent back to the last checkpoint and lose a large sum of your current money. However, if you manage to make your way back to where you died, you get the chance to reclaim whatever money you lost the last time you died. This is a very good system, because it gives you a sense of, "get up and try again". And it's much better than a lives system from a game like Mario. You can try as many times as you like without much repercussion. And now, I would like to talk about my favorite thing about Shovel Knight. Once I realized that this game was doing this, I started tearing up. And that's the fact that the game has no tutorials, but still teaches the player. Games these days shove so many tutorials down the player's throat, that you just kinda wish they were just not there. But Shovel Knight comes along and ditches them completely. Rather than tutorials, the game teaches by playing. The best example of this, in my opinion, is in Shovel Knight's stage. One of the reoccurring gimmicks in that stage is ice stuck to the wall. Touching it causes the ice to fall as a platform onto spikes below. So, how does the game teach you this? Well, you fall down a pit, and you fall onto that ice. That's how you learn that touching the ice makes safe platforms. There is no sense of danger at that point, and only in points after that. At that point, if that causes you to die, then it's your fault. The game does this consecutively. It presents a gimmick in a safe environment, and then mixes that with more dangerous situations. This makes every single death not your fault. This is something that I really wish more games did. It truly is a beautiful thing when a game can do this. And that's all I really want to talk about. And for anybody wondering how much I really like this game...well, let's just say that, from a design-only perspective, this is one of the best games I've ever played. I'm not sure what I would rate it on a 1-10 scale, but it would definitely be at least an 8.5. Well, that's all folks! Thanks for reading, if you did!
  10. Mark got up from his desk and walked over to Lance, still snickering. He was happy that class was over, though he didn't care about that right now. At the moment, he only cared about wanting to tease Lance a bit, which he did from time to time. Mark never really meant anything by it though. "Well well, the Ever-Bored Lance strikes the body of the sleep once again!" Mark spoke in his typical tone when he was joking around with others, that being half-jester, and half-dramatic. "Now c'mon, we're gonna be late if you slack off. Unless, poor Ever-Bored is still too drowsy?"
  11. So I wound up getting Smash for Wii U and my first amiibo; Olimar. Oh, I also got the Player's Handbook and the Dungeon Master's guide for D&D. Because I'm a nerd, you know?

@Shulk I haven't played very many actual games, to be honest. Though I've spent so much time watching videos on the game and checking out books from the library on it, that I might as well have been playing ever since I got into it, that being four years ago. Though I will say, D&D is definitely a game that requires quite a few friends. Something that I kinda lack right now. Though the books are always nice to have.

@Dawn Believe me, I am stronger than most people. I...

...only intend on getting four other amiibo; Shulk, Robin, Bowser, and Bayonetta when she gets released.

Also, I just realized that my prediction yesterday was true in that I got D&D stuff. Go me!

  12. So today's my birthday. Now I can drive, I can drink alcohol, I can actually do none of those things, and I'll just spend the day going to school and eating proper ramen at a ramen place. Go me!

  13. I didn't notice that you had decided to take a short break. So basically, see you when you get back, man!

  14. Basically, the circus arrived at their new location. And a while after setting up for the circus, three missions were posted to a board. Your character can take any one of the three missions, so long as your character speaks with Happy. Or you could be like my characters and have either no clue what to, or just be somewhere else entirely. By the way, yeah, Cillan is still around. He'll be back soon after Fred does something other than stand by the board.
  15. I edited my sheet. Just confirm if it's okay, and I'll respond to the RP!
  16. So my birthday is tomorrow. And knowing me and what I've been asking for recently, I'm probably gonna get a whole bunch of D&D stuff. You can not be a true nerd without D&D, maybe!

  17. Fred looked down at Z as he hugged the fishman. While Fred didn't exactly reciprocate the hug, being to caught off guard to even consider doing so, he didn't exactly try and resist it either. "Er, uh, yeah. No problem! Thanks for all the info, too. I'll keep you in mind if I ever need somebody to talk to. Well, uh, I'm gonna go check out the board. See you around, Z!" Fred patted Z on the shoulder as he passed by, going over to check out the board. Fred looked over the board, looking at the three missions posted there. However, only one of them stood out to Fred. "Find out why kids have gone missing?" Fred mumbled a bit to himself. "Well, I know what I'm going to do. Now, how do I confirm that I'll be taking this mission, again? Do I just talk to Happy, or was there some other process, or..." Fred mumbled to himself for a long while. A rather long while.
  18. Nice to have you on the site! Feel free to talk to anybody if you have any questions or want to discuss anything!
  19. I have an RP that's going to be going up later this month. At the same time, I have an idea for an original RP that I also really want to do. And I don't have time to do both. Hmm...I must think on this. If anybody wants to give input, go ahead.

  20. I just wrote a seven-page essay on a novel. Everybody else in my class did like five at most. Do you guys think I went overboard?

    1. DragonMaster

      DragonMaster

I don't think so! But I'm also the kind of student who writes longer papers than everyone else all the time, so I'm biased. It just depends on if you wrote a quality paper or not. Unless your teacher takes off for too many pages, that would stink...

If it had to be done for the story, then its fine.

  21. So being the furry that I am, I'm psyched for Zootopia! I'm not quite expecting it to be the best thing ever, but I'm still excited to go and see it.

Same with most movies, except if it has potential to really be a great movie, but that hasn't happened for awhile.

  22. I woke up quite earlier than I should have. I don't really mind, though.
