Zane roared and swung his hand in the direction of the Phantom, projecting an incredible bolt of darkness. The blast ripped through the heartless, leaving a gaping hole where its "heart" should be. The Phantom squirmed pathetically in dying agony as Zane grabbed it by the scruff of its cloak. "Xiath is righteous! My past drives me to give mercy I never felt!" Zane cast Curaga on the poor creature and flung it directly at Rachel.. (no color change) "

(Phantom is neutral in element right now ) The phantom swirled in the air as it was hit, quickly closing in on Rachel. Zane turned his head to the side. "I don't wanna be long, either. This place is filthy." He began walking towards the girl. "Do you know who I am? The power I have gained through a life of suffering...?" Zane looked oddly sad, almost as if he were going to cry. "Well, thats over now. I'm sick of this balance that discards us forgotten children. I'll make a world where there is no suffering, just blissful warmth, even if the warmth is a blanket of darkness!" Zane's voice was trembling, but his tone was confident. The phantom lashed out with its claws, violently tearing towards Rachel.

Kenji put the low-hanging necklace on and took out a few notebooks from his old cloak before tossing the black apparel aside. He stuffed the journals in his backpack, slung it around his shoulder, and nodded. "I am... reddee, Joel." Kenji then sheepishly sidled behind the kind boy, waiting for him to lead the way.

Zane stood and chuckled maniacally for a couple of seconds. "YOU'RE the host? Well sorry, sweet cheeks. You're servers ABOUT TO CRASH!" He snapped his gloved fingers, triggering a cloaked monster (KH Phantom without emblem) to smash through a stained glass window. "Tell me baby. Whats your name? I simply must know what to scratch into the gravestone."

After a few minutes, Kenji came out wearing white baggy pants and a black, skin tight shirt. The boy tied back all his white locks with a single dread and hopped as if suprised. Kenji reached into his new pocket and took out a silver chain necklace with a lead heart on the end, an unfamiliar accessory to Joel. "This yours...?"

The boy looked at his feet in thought. "Name... ... ... ... ..My name... ... ..is Kenji," the boy said after searching his memories for his favorite syllables. "His name... is Mahstuhr Joopihtur... I dew.... need new klowths... Thanck yew, freyuhnd. Watt is yoor name...? " Kenji still looked a little scared, though he seemed to be one of the older arrivals. The boy was fidgety and couldn't return a smile to Joel. His language was still horrid, but his sentences were already growing more fluid.

I love Auron and the whole religious allusions to the real world. Spira is gorgeous and the team system is genius. I respect the characters and value them as necessary.
