I was never super into the EU other than playing some of the Star Wars themed games. I can understand Disney's claim that they wanted to give the creators creative freedom though, which wouldn't be possible if they had to work within the confines of established EU. 95% of the EU was never officially canon anyway, so it WAS basically just fanfiction. It's not like the books are being torn from shelves, people can still read an enjoy the content. I am mildly bummed about Kyle Katarn though.

Aye. I don't care how good a game looks as long as it's fun to play and highly replayable. I'm not even sure I want to get a new console.

Except that it's like Borlands 2...if it was less fun.

I don't know if it's because my tastes have changed or because I'm fed up with the gaming industry, but it seems pretty sad that the game I'm most excited for is an indy PC title.
