@jilly yeah, I can imagine where that'd come from. Mine typically start off long (usually when setting up an important scene or long twist of actions) but I eventually adjust and shrink mine based on how much my partner is writing.

Yeah, no problem! I just figure that sometimes writing a scene out of order and then going back to fill in the details leading up to it would be good if you were running out of steam or felt like you were just trudging through it to get to what you want to write.

Yeah, that's exactly it. I've just placed a few "land mines" (aka the interesting points god I am SO CREATIVE) and I'll go back around and fill in all the empty stuff later.
