Yea won't be seeing another Nintendo handheld and console for another 4-7 years so its "meh" imo I just got a 3DS XL for my birthday in May and I have not bought a Wii U yet so I am in no rush for 9th gen hardware yet Sony and Microsoft have already started as well , as the big three do each console gen so the news is cool but not that surprising .

^^^ Or like saying the newer gen consoles can handle 1080p 60 frames per second in EVERY GAME. By season 3 Korra already surpassed kid Aang( maybe not in his prime since nobody knows what Aang learned in his prime). Korra knows Water bending, Earthbending, Firebending, Airbending , Energybending, and Metal bending( Aang didn't learn metal bending in his show due to various reasons)
