  1. It will most likely be at TGS or Jump Festa. Between FF7R and KH3 i wonder which will get more reveals/focus from Square Enix next year in 2017 since both are rumored to release in the same year
  2. All the information we got at this years E3 actually got me even more hyped up for it. I will easily put 200+ hours into it and even more once DLC is released
  3. 60FPS is double 30FPS and makes the game feel smoother and snappier and faster to play. If you have a gaming PC, nowadays those get up to 144FPS depending on what GPU and settings you're using. 60FPS has pretty much been standard on PC for the last 8 years and now 100+ FPS is becoming standard on PC. Consoles are shifting to standard 60FPS but this process is slow due to hardware limitations of the consoles, which is why a game like DDD is 60FPS on PS4 compared to 0.2 which is 30FPS (0.2 has better visuals and is running on a new engine).
  4. We already knew going into this E3 that FFXV was gonna be the main focus of Square Enix; its only 3 months away from being released and will be their biggest title in quite some time. Expect KH3 to be the main focus at E3 2017, unless FF7R will share screen time with it
  5. Its the future of gaming IMO. It has to be done properly though. I still think there's no way the PS4 OR PS4 NEO with the PSVR can output good quality games at playable framerates. If someone is really interested in VR, they should build a gaming rig with a high-end GPU and Oculus Rift or HTC Vive
  6. Aside from Kingdom Hearts, what do you guys think Square Enix will show off tomorrow during their live event and Sony's press conference? Here are my predictions: - Final game build of FFXV will be shown during the ATR and Sony press conference - Optimization progress will be discussed for FFXV on PS4 and XB1 - New Kingsglaive FFXV Trailer - New Brotherhood FFXV episode focusing on Prompto (already confirmed) - Possible XIII series port to PS4/XB1 - FF7 Remake new trailer - Possible FF7 Remake Demo included with copies of FFXV - FFXIV possible new expansion trailer - Dissidia: Final Fantasy gameplay will be shown for PS4/XB1. Possible release date will be revealed - Motomu Toriyama's unannounced title will be revealed (possibly FFX-3?) - New numbered entry in the series will be teased (FFXVI) - Deus Ex Mankind Divided New gameplay stage demo - NieR Automata new gameplay trailer - Possible Type-0 Sequel to be announced - Hitman Episode 4 trailer - Possible new tomb raider announcement or DLC Feel free to add to the list if you think i missed anything!
  7. Since FFXV and 2.8 both get worldwide releases its safe to say KH3 will get one as well. With games this big square enix cannot afford to alienate a region for 6 months until localization is finished; those days are over
  8. Combos still looks slow and sluggish like BBS and DDD which is worrisome. Sure the flashy spells look cool and do alot of damage but it looks like KH2-esque combat has been abandoned in favor of a BBS/DDD KH2 hybrid combat system. I really hope they show off the combos a bit better in the next trailer
  9. In order of hype: 1. FFXV 2. Persona 5 2. Mass Effect Andromeda 3. Deus Ex Mankind Divided 4. NieR Automata 5. The Last Guardian 6. Battlefield 1 7. TES 6 8. Horizon Zero Dawn 9. God of War 4 (hopefully)
  10. AMD RX 480 -14nm FinFET - 5 TFLOPS - 4/8GB GDDR5 - 256-Bit - 36 Cu's - 150W TDP - VR Ready - June 29th Release Date (Reference) - $200 (4GB version) AMD claims two of these in crossfire can rival the performance of the $600 dollar GTX 1080. I would take this claim with a grain of salt until benchmarks are released. Just like NVIDIA, AMD's marketing department likes to cherry pick certain statistics to make it look like their cheaper GPU is better than the premium priced competitor. I believe this card will compete with the GTX 1070; the 1080 will remain the king of high-end until AMD releases vega in October. Remember, AMD Polaris is targeting the entry level-mid range market. Still, for $200, this GPU will dominate the market for low-mid range cards
  11. FFXV, FF7R, KH2.8, NieR Automata, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Battlefield 1 in addition to KH3
  12. honestly i would just avoid maxwell at this point if you dont already have one. for the same price you can get a 1070 which is more powerful than a titan x
  13. NVIDIA said the 1070 is more powerful than a Titan X and two 980s in SLI so its alot better. And the price is similar right now yes but the price of maxwell cards might go down after the 1080 and 1070 come out
  14. HBM2 will debut with the 1080Ti and Pascal Titan which are rumored to be released next year yep!
  15. GTX 1080 - Standard Edition $600 USD and Founders Edition (Binned/Unlocked for higher overclocks) is $700 USD - Available May 27th - 2x faster than a Titan X at VR and 30% faster than a Titan X at 4K - 1607 Mhz Core Clock, 1733 Mhz boost clock (can be OC'd to 2.1Ghz using Founders edition) - 8GB GDDR5X Memory with transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps - 256-Bit Memory Bus Width - 9 Teraflops (TFLOPS) of power - 180Watt TDP (uses 1 8pin power connector) - 2560 CUDA cores GTX 1070 - Standard Edition is $379 USD and Founders edition is $449 USD - 6.5 TFLOPS of Power - 8GB DDR5 - Available June 10th - Faster than a Titan X For those with a 980, 980Ti, Titan X or older line of NVIDIA GPU's, i highly recommend upgrading to the 1080 for optimal performance at 4K resolutions. The 1080 will be able to handle any upcoming AAA title (Battlefield 1, COD Infinite Warfare, Star Citizen, etc) at maxed settings 1080p @60FPS with no issues Images:
  16. highly unlikely. the PS4 NEO will cost $399 just like the original model
  17. lol they can choose to add NEO mode later down the line via a patch if they want to. The new PS4 can handle it
  18. http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/04/19/rumor-playstation-45-codenamed-neo-specs-revealed Original PS4 Specs: CPU: 8 Jaguar cores at 1.6 Ghz GPU: AMD GCN 18CUs at 800Mhz RAM: 8GB GDDR5 176GB/s NEO Specs: CPU: 8 Jaguar cores at 2.1Ghz GPU: Improved AMD GCN 36CUs at 911Mhz RAM: 8GB GDDR5 218Gb/s The original PS4 and PS4 NEO will co-exist. They will share PSN, connect to the same online communities, offer the same user experience, and retain purchases. There will be NO Neo only games; Sony will give developers the option to create a NEO mode which allows games to take advantage of the PS4 NEO's upgraded specs. Sony will NOT allow developers to offer incentives for using NEO mode Developers can choose to add NEO mode to previously released titles via patch at their own discretion. There are no plans for a trade in program at the moment however gamestop will most likely do one like they did with the PSvita and nintendo 3DS Personally, i think this is a good idea. If FFXV has the potential to run at 60FPS and Square Enix takes advantage of the new PS4's hardware im sold.
  19. I have the PS4 Deluxe edition pre-ordered right now but if there is a PC version that will release in the future i will buy that too; 60FPS and max graphics on a game like FFXV are too much to pass up
  20. Like it or not the PS4.5 is happening and the PS4/XB1 are weak hardware wise. If you ever built a PC before and are familiar with processing power/graphics cards you would know that the APU the consoles use is outdated and obsolete (AMD 7870 first released in 2012 btw). Also, platinum demo did not have a consistent 30FPS. It had many FPS drops and stutters and fluctuating resolutions For me, episode duscae was much smoother than platinum demo. There's still 6 months left until release so i know the team will do their best to fix the FPS and resolution issues
  21. There's a new ransomware making the rounds called Locky. Like Cryptolocker and other ransoms, this virus encrypts your files (RSA 2048 bit) and forces you to pay a fee (usually 0.5 BTC) to unlock them with a custom decryption program. This virus differs from other ransoms in that it uses spam emails (Invoice emails) to trick the user into opening a word document; that word document will contain scrambled text prompting the user to enable macros; once macros are enabled, the virus downloads the payload from the command and control server and then encrypts your files within a matter of hours. Currently, there is no way to decrypt the files aside from paying the ransom WHICH YOU SHOULDN'T DO! How to protect yourself: - Make sure your antivirus definitions are up to date - Don't enable macros on word - Don't open the spam emails containing the infected word documents - BACKUP YOUR SYSTEMS. I cannot stress this enough. Locky removes shadow copies so trying to get the files back with a program like shadowexplorer is not guaranteed Malewarebytes article source: https://blog.malwarebytes.org/threat-analysis/2016/03/look-into-locky/
  22. The point im trying to make is that the current gen consoles are too weak for what they claim to be; both the PS4 and XB1 are using a modified AMD APU, with the GPU component based on the HD 7000 series (first released in 2012). Rather than using an APU, Sony/Microsoft should have used a dedicated processor and graphics card, like in a gaming laptop. This would have increased performance in games. Im hoping sony does this with the PS4.5 later this year Sony is going to use a GTX 970 or AMD equivalent in their new PS4.5 if the rumors are true; you need a 970 or higher to run games at 4K in 30FPS. What im saying is that sony should have done this initially; the PS4 should have had its own dedicated GPU instead of the APU they used
  23. my main issue is that both the PS4 and Xbox One are weak hardware-wise for home consoles in 2016
