That wasn't even the main point by the way, SorRik wasn't questioning the status of the games. Merely wondering why they decided to go that route instead of keeping it simple.

They are spin-offs because of how much they differ from the main series games. I mean take a look at Assassins Creed, Unity and Syndicate would be spin-off titles because they aren't part of the numbered series. But they are still full scale games. The ones you mentioned were all handheld titles, and use a vastly different system than the numbered games. Otherwise why isn't KH3 actually KH6 or something?

They have a lot of story, but they are still spin-offs. Just look at the difference in gameplay.

They are essentially spin-off titles because they were all on handhelds, and none of them were numbered titles. It would've made a lot more sense except for one problem. The gap between the numbered titles. You can play KH2 without playing Chain of Memories, but you will miss a lot of story and character development.

But remember in 3D how they said nobodies could develop hearts. They were implying that Roxas and maybe Xion had hearts.

She was also meant to not exist anymore. But she clearly exists somewhere. What even matters lol

I totally forgot about the whole saving thing O_o. Yeah I don't think they are bold enough to make Xion evil... (prove me wrong guys making the game!!!)

Sora fighting Xion would be heart-wrenching though In a good way

I wouldn't mind too much, I guess Xion as a character didn't mean too much to me. But it would be cool to fight every final boss again, in the lead up to the true final boss. O_O Damn!!

I think so yeah, Xion is from Sora's memories, which is probably why she resembled Kairi at first, (before that scene where her face turns into Sora's, NOoooooooooooooooooo!!!)

Xion is a possibility, but it feels a bit counter-productive after the whole fiasco that was 358/2.
