Does that mean he's just as evil as Xehanort? Or does he mean he likes Xehanort as a character but the translator mistranslated it? I can't understand that line in that interview and I feel kinda confused and odd about it. Sorry if I'm missing something. I like Nomura as a director so no offense intended ;-) Just asking.

I mean YMX says he's the Xehanort from the earliest point in time so the foretellers couldn't be vessels aren't they? They existed before YMX after all afaik.

Will the foretellers be the remaining Xehanort Vessels or not? Or are they the lost masters? Anyone have ideas?

Thanks for all of this information ;-) But one question... this Keyblade War is like 1000's of years back isn't it? I mean, if it was like 100 years back, Young Xehanort would have witnessed it or his parents would have witnessed it or something wouldn't he? (in BBS he's like 80 years old, in KH1 he's reborn as AnsemSoD/Xemnas so he's 10 years older in a sense) If the generation before YMX had witnessed it they would've just told him all about it I guess and he wouldn't be so crazy looking for that knowledge, wouldn't he? Or am I missing something? And if Triton would be like 1000 years old wouldn't that be weird and vague? (unless he's based off of Poseidon or some other deity or whatever)

I think it's a retcon. When KH1 and KH2 were created I don't think Nomura had thought up about Xehanort, Terra, etc. and Xehanort having a keyblade. So he got lightsabers. But I gotta admit... the above theories kinda make sense and if you take BBS and DDD's intro scene (My name... IS ANSEM!!!) in account, I think it indeed was to avoid the other members from suspecting him. Saïx and Xigbar might've known tho, them being secretly in league with Xemnas and all and intended to become Xehanort Vessels. I think Marluxia could also have known (maybe it sounds farfetched, but I think he betrayed Xemnas cause he suspected him)

I want KH3 to be fairly dark and intense, but not TOO dark. I mean, not like a plot where everyone is emo and angsty and such. But I think KH1, DDD and KHCoded are far too lighthearted, so not something like that. I hope it'll be on the level of BBS and COM dark, if not a little bit more. Hopefully, Sora will also have learned from his mistakes in DDD for once and become a little bit less naive. Not more cynical, as the friendship thing makes him who he is IMO and he shouldn't drop that, but he should be a bit more like how someone at the age of 17/18 would act. Like me, I'm 17, and I don't think friendship can magically solve everything either. Had too many bad experiences for that. Since I'm kinda cynical it's especially grating for me to hear Sora talk about all of that. I hope that the main characters (I mean Sora, Donald and Goofy) actually go through some angst this time (like in KHCoM) and instead of having to be saved like always I hope they overcome it themselves this time. But please... don't let Elsa die if she'd be in KH3, haha.

Sorry if this topic has already been made and such, but... That scene in KH1 where King Triton tells Sora 'not to meddle in the affairs of other worlds' and 'the key bearer shatters peace and brings ruin'... why does he say that? The TAV trio has never been to Atlantica afaik, but could the KHx Keyblade War have something to do with it? Or maybe Xehanort? Or are there keyblade wielders/masters we don't know about yet? The way King Triton acts in that scene... it almost seems to me like he's met a Keyblade wielder before and has bad experiences with them. What do you think?

I love the plot, however, especially the 13 darkness 7 light thing. But the tome of prophecy is really weird IMO.

I was thinking that too. Xigbar really doesn't seem like a Xehanort to me. Note how he still talks in his lighthearted, funny manner like in BBS and KH and he constantly cracks jokes about Xehanort? I think Terra-Xehanort will also be in the True Organization XIII, given the Xehanorts from different times thing. And Xehanort said he had 2 lights in his possession (the 1st was Sora, I guess, before Lea saved him. The 2nd is very likely Terra, I think) And it could make for an interesting arc with the BBS trio IMO. Vanitas is IMO a very likely thing given he had the yellow Xehanort eyes in BBS already. So maybe he's been half-Xehanort all along. Explains why he's so deathly loyal to Xehanort during most of BBS as well. I don't think he ''literally'' makes copies of himself, I think it's more like Xehanort ''converting'' people (like Saix and Xigbar), so they take on his mindset and ideals and beliefs etc. I do think they have free will to a certain degree and retain part of themselves. I mean, Xigbar still talks like he did in BBS and KH2, in his lighthearted and funny manner, and he constantly cracks jokes about Xehanort as well (Grampa Xehanort sure is scary...) I think that if he would be completely like Xehanort, I don't think he would act like that. In other words, I think it's more like Xehanort converting them. You know, like those scary cults IRL converting and brainwashing people into thinking like them etc. Except Xehanort uses a healthy dose of black magic / darkness for it.

First of all, I apologize if this topic has been there before, but I can't really find a recent topic like what I'm gonna say here. I also don't intend to come off harsh/offend others, but I really feel the need to rant ATM. It's been in my chest for some time now and given that I don't have much (if any) KH-fan friends IRL, I can't throw off this burden and talk about it with them. Thing is... Rant begins here. It's been 3 years almost and we don't know a freaking thing about the other darknesses yet. I think Nomura should explain something more about it in KH3D HD if it'll be here. Like, that YMX scene in the cathedral where Vanitas appears next to him. In the HD Remake, Vanitas could actually be summoned next to YMX and engage Sora in a fight, taunting about Ventus etc... Fighting Vanitas in that cathedral would be so rad IMO. And in the cutscene in the throne room, maybe one of the hooded figures could take off his hood and reveal to be Vanitas or Demyx or whoever's in there and say a line. Heck, one of the yet-unknown half-Xehanorts could even go and taunt Sora during the game. In other words, I hope KH3D HD will be more like KH: Re:Dream Drop Distance. They did it with Coded and COM, so why not with KH3D? The game is totally rushed IMO. Sorry if I offend people here, not my intention, but to me, KH3D just feels... meh. It could've been so much more. I hope there'll be more KH3-related stuff in it too. It's all a mystery at the moment, for 3 years already and that annoys me. I mean, I love the idea of Xehanort creating 13 clones of himself. Some people may find it odd but I love it. I just don't hope Nomura makes another dick move on the lines of ''it was just a dream in the Realm of Sleep, nothing more, and there's no 13 Xehanorts in KH3, whatever'' etc. I don't think he'll do it, but Nomura's done weird stuff before. I don't want this idea to be totally screwed up in KH3. Rant ends here. There's also another thing... (something I actually find really awesome ) Some people wonder why Marluxia betrayed the old Organization. I think it's because... he somehow knew Xemnas's true plan. He might've overheard a conversation between YMX and Xemnas, even! YMX talked to Braig in the Secret Movie before picking him and Saix up. What if YMX also had a secret conversation with Xemnas about the vessels... and Marluxia overheard him? Then Marluxia decided to take matters in his own hands and prevent this whole thing by killing Xemnas and taking over the Organization? I've always had this idea since KH3D that Marluxia knew more. Before KH3D, he just seemed like an evil selfish prick to me, but KH3D changed my opinion. I don't think he'll be in the True Organization XIII. I think he'll be some kind of renegade (kinda like Shadow the Hedgehog or Sasuke Uchicha, but less dark) fighting Xehanort on his own, and Sora and co. eventually run into him and help him. Then Marluxia would explain what he actually wanted during COM. Another, last thing... wouldn't it be totally awesome if there were a cutscene (or even boss fight) where the whole True Organization surrounds/attacks Sora at once, and it's a boss fight you have to lose to proceed in the storyline? Or it's a boss fight like the first Vanitas fight in BBS, where eventually you get saved by King Mickey or someone else? Let me hear your thoughts! -Bas

I hope it'd be the weapon in the final battle. While killing Heartless and Nobodies with it would be awesome, it'd break the plot IMO.

I would so much love her to come back. Hopefully as one of the Guardians of Light, even. Tho I doubt that. Xion deserves a happy ending.

Hello there, I am Solstice, real name Bas (from Sebastian). I am a Kingdom Hearts fan. Sadly enough I didn't play the games yet cause I live in a very small house where there's little to no room for a console and I also don't have a lot of money on my hands, so I was stuck with KH Days on the DS. It was okay (and I hella love Xion :wub: , haters gonna hate) but not superb and I want to play the other games too. So I actually want to buy KH 2.5 HD Remix when I live in a better home (which is soon). Xion is my favorite KH character but Sora and Roxas also come very close. I am a kinda shy person IRL and I'm not the most sociable guy in the universe, but I'm nice to anyone as long as they're nice to me. I don't hate anyone in particular. I can have a good laugh with others and when I'm feeling down I usually watch Kingdom Hearts stuff or talk about that kind of stuff and it cheers me up. I have a kinda cynical worldview tho. But I am also an indie game developer to-be! I'm developing a game called 'Story of Alexia' which is a retro-style game similar to Cave Story, The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. but in a more serious atmosphere. The atmosphere and some plot stuff is actually inspired by Kingdom Hearts! For example, the antagonist is very much like Xehanort (but I won't tell how yet) but all characters are original. It also takes inspiration from Japanese mythologies and Youkai. I will tell more about it in case you fellas are interested! I hope I'll have a good time here. Won't be active 24/7 cause the gamedev really takes up much of my time, but I will drop in and say hi once in a while! :wink: Greetings, -Bas
