I think they're fine. If anything they look off when in dark environments. But I also feel like it's unfair to judge Kairi's new character model in the final trailer when she only appeared for about 1.2 seconds while talking and blinking at the same time. And besides I don't know if they're actually using recent footage or old versions of footage from months ago similar to how they make the KH3 trailers.

Actually Ven is represented by the chess piece on the light side shaped like his keyblade's keychain.

I like 2.8's character models, but I'm apparently also wrong and the fact that I like the models is bad because why not
