  1. Agreed, Frozen really needs to be polished. The foundation is good though. It doesn't look horrible but compared to Tangled and the like, everything looks a few steps behind. But I'm sure that'll be fixed as well since Tangled had the same problems at first apparently.
  2. And even then we wouldn't know what happened. Whenever people are working, there are mistakes, unfkreseen circumstances and so on. Not to mention that the fans were very adamant about getting a release window last year as well. Saying we were lied to ans throwing around words like betrayal or breaking promises is too much.
  3. I agree. It's a 1 month delay or maybe even 2 or 3 since we don't know when it was originally meant to be released but better that than a faulty game or getting chopped content galore as paid DLC later... It really is no big deal. I'm happy they're taking their time to give us the best possible product as long as it doesn't get pushed back to 2020 or something. <_<
  4. Twitter is the same, unfortunately. Whatever they do, they can't do it right because of expectations... I'm happy with what we got and it's merely a deviation of one month from 2018. Better this and acting on the criticism then let it become an unfinished game with lots of plot relevant content shoved in oger the course of over the next two years.
  5. I agree... People got what they wanted and it's better to receive a game which won't be laden with bugs and glitches ans take critcism into account than a nearly finished one with a patch on the first day and another the following week...
  6. I agree that they should only reveal a release date if they know they can keep it. But with how much pressure is coming from fans, it's no wonder this happened. The game has been in active development for 4 years now. That's still within a good time frame for a Triple A game. They shouldn't have announced KH3 so soon.
  7. They very likely announced it because fans were getting impatient and because that aas their initial schedule. Delays happen. They won't delay it just to make a fool out of the fans. Expectations are always our own problem and not SE's. We're also talking about a month here. They announced it too early. Bad decision from them, no questions asked. But what I've seen from a number of fans was the behavior of entitlement which drove them to reveal a year.
  8. Then people shouldn't repeatedly ask for a release date. No offense, but with how many fans have been asking Square about a release date, some in a none too polite way, it's no wonder they decided to show a year. Yes, they shouldn't say something they can't fulfill but the fans are also to blame. There was not a single post where people did not ask about a release date, even if it was unrelated.
  9. It's more like an ad for Utada's new album. If that's real, it didn't really reveal anything we didn't already know so I guess it's fine if it got released too early. Not if it gets anyone in trouble but rather that it doesn't kill the excitement. Still, thanks for sharing!
  10. Me neither. That's plenty already and E3 really isn't far. I actually would appreciate it if I would attend so I could fully enjoy the music and not be hyped by a trailer. Because new trailers always make me want to watch them over and over and talk to my friends about them.
  11. Good point. I mean, it's not impossible but with how much trouble they had it might have changed a lot.
  12. As always, I keep my expectations as low as possible, but it is definitely an option that we might get something considering shat happened last year at the concert and that a whle lot of important people will be present. Though it might be limited to the two newly arranged tracks.
  13. That would actually be a very good idea. While I loved both movies, I don't think Moana would work out quite well and while Zootopia could work with a transformation, I don't think this game needs any more of them. So a summon from those worlds would be awesome.
  14. I'm not worried about that at all to be honest. Square is really good at making trailers which only serve to confuse people more without actually revealing much. Until the release of FFXV, I barely knew anything about the game despite all the demos and trailers. The same kinda applies to KH3 as well. What has been revealed so far have all been things which were already hinted at. Nothing major, which is good.
  15. Same here! Though I hope this wasn't just some exaggeration like last time where they said 2017 would be non-stop KH3 news. I believe they will find a good balance though. It shouldn't be too much either, considering that we don't want to know everything about the game. But with how large it appears to be, there's nothing wrong with showing a bit more than with any other KH game before. :ad
  16. I'm actually more interested in everything beside the release date Knowing the date won't get it to me faster and stuff can still happen like it dod with FFXV. I'd rather see new worlds, new/old characters, new music and some gameplay things we haven't seen yet.
  17. Considering that they showed a brand new trailer last year at the concert a week before E3, I don't think it's entirely impossible. They would still show the shown trailer at E3 for those who do not follow their Youtube channel or visit any news sites... I also think that E3 is the better choice, espefially since they have their own showcase, but it has not been the first time.
  18. It would be a bad move, but there's nothing stopping them from showing 3-4 release dates on the same screen like some games did back in the day were simultaneous worldwide release were but a dream. It would be a bad move and Nintendo certainly didn't make friends when they released some of the Pokemon games 1-2 weeks later in Europe because of things such as spoilers (though the connectivity also played a huge role there. People were angry that other people were already way ahead in building their teams for competions while they had to wait.) Still, I agree it would be a bad idea in times like these. Not only because of the initial reactions of fans but because it is not necessary. If there's only a week or two between the releases, they can't legitimately justify it with any real issue preventing them from a worldwide release other than favoritism or wanting to see if everything works accordingly, which seriously should be done ahead of time. And the stores had 2.8 way earlier too. Over one and a half decades ago, things were different and games could easily release 3-6 months later without any issues. One of the main reasons I don't want the same thing as with 2.8, which I played a whole week earlier than announced, I still had tons of streams on my Youtube feed the day it came out in Japan and I'm not really inclined to avoid everything because of a game coming out. I'm reliant on the Youtube and the internet for my studies as well. To answer your question though, we cannot know for sure. Considering what happened with 2.8, I can't imagine it releasing later than two weeks after Japan at the most. Then again, Nomura is rather fickle in his statements. What held true a year or two ago doesn't necessarily need to be their plans now. They seem to change them often enough. For example, in a really old intervies,I remember Nomura saying that it would be strange if KH3 had fewer worlds than KH2. Now we can't say for sure that's the case since they admitted to choosing larger worlds over quantity. But I guess we'll know soon If they have different release dates, it should be made obvious though.
  19. I would have found it amusing if the release date had been hidden in the newest Wreck-It Ralph trailer and no one found it just yet.
  20. At the latest. There's still the concert before that which could also show a trailer like last year. He didn't specify which event or how it will be given after all.
  21. I'm rather happy about this. I know there were many Q3 enthusiasts, the July ones probably being the most optimistic, but I'm satisfied they have time to fix the things that were critcized at the premiere event and polish it a bit more. Despite it looking fairly good already, it is apparent they still have quite a bit to do. A few more months did wonders to 0.2. All in all, Q4 was my top expectation and also the time frame I was anticipating if they don't want to throw put some subpar game with a day one patch at the ready. It's a longer waiting time, yes, but I take better quality over a poor game any day.
  22. I agree. Not only is it more wondrous and colorful, the story would work out a lot better. If they went with PotC, they would likely go with the second and third movie combined and those were rather hectic, all over the place, and the story just wouldn't fit, except for Jones' literal heart being in a chest. They weren't bad movies, but overall too much going on everywhere to keep track and still incorporate the original plot of KH.
  23. Yeah that'swhat I meant. The live action movies don't work out much for me, except for the first Tron movie, where the style was a bit more adjusted. But I understand why they didn't do it, because otherwise it wouldn't be true to the source. Of course not every Disney game has that incentive, but KH has always at least tried to capture the movies as closely as possible. It was impressive for the time it was made, but the style really did clash immensely.
  24. Me too... It wasn't the worst world and the first movie was enjoyable, but I simply don't like how much the styles clashed and how commuting by boat worked. I don't mind dark worlds either but Treasure Planet also has really interesting planets and creatures. I guess I just don't like boats and small islands when it's like in KH2. Which is why Moana would be troublesome too.
  25. Square Enix of course but also Sony, though I'll be disappointed if it's anything like last year's. If I wanted a collection of trailers, I'd watch a compilation on Youtube. I'm a bit disappointed that quite a lot of games get announced beforehand. I always love it the most to see something appear amongst other games out of nowhere and see the reactions of the crowd. I can understand why they do it and they can still present something new, but it's nice not to know everything before the actual conferences/streams. Square is an obvious choice because they have quite a few games I'm interested in, though Sony will hopefully show some interesting games as well. I'm also waiting for more information about Death Stranding, actual gameplay this time perhaps and not a movie clip, Cyberpunk 2077 since that has also been overdue and maybe some smaller indie titles. Nintendo is fairly uninteresting for me currently since I don't own a Switch and the 3DS/2DS seem to have all but faded from focus. I do like the Smash series, but except for new characters and some improvements here and there, I don't expect it to be groundbreakingly different or shocking. These types of games are fun to play, especially with others, but they don't instill much excitement in me. Ubisoft and EA are out for me. I don't need another AC and EA is also recycling games like crazy. If there's something exciting, I will hear about it anyway but no need to waste time and sleep for that.
