  1. edit: ah I misunderstood. If it's a straight up flashback I think it would show it as it actually happened, rather than how it was altered. But I also really like Theninjajoint's addition to the explanation.
  2. As I was looking at a gifset on Tumblr earlier today, I noticed that the Young Xehanort's hairline is drastically different than the Young Xehanort that we know from KH3D. Shortly after the release of the KH3 trailer from E3 of this year, there were also a lot of people saying it didn't make sense that the YMX in the KH3 trailer looked younger than the YMX that left the islands. I think I have a solution. Here's KH3 YMX: Here's YMX from KH3D: Notice that the YMX looks a bit more like.....: My theory is that when Xehanort took on Terra's physical form, it affected his entire timeline; thus making the YMX on the islands look like a young Terranort, much like how Sora interacting with Ventus's heart made Vanitas look like Sora. And that's why he looks so different than the YMX that we see in the KH3 trailer. What say you guys?
  3. I think it's a map of The World (as in all the worlds--what we would call a universe). Yen Sid keeps track of the ongoings of The World and alerts Eraqus through a weird crystal thing in BBS when things start to go wrong, so that's my guess.
  4. There's TONS of animated movies that they haven't touched yet. I would venture to say close to 20, if not more than that, so I really don't see them running out after KH3.
  5. I think the main game will wrap everything up neatly and a secret ending will signify the start of a new threat.
  6. Man. I almost hate that I was originally right because my mind totally went all over the place putting together pieces to match up with KH3 happening 13 years after BBS.
  7. Unchained X is way more likely. I think if anything they might show more concept art like they did at D23 this year. September 17th is Kingdom Hearts' 13th anniversary in North America, though, so it'd be nice if something was released because of that, even if it's not directly through TGS (like how that English KH3D trailer came out on Valentines Day without being attached to any sort of gaming event).
  8. hahah I want them to kiss too but I don't think Sora's old necklace would have gotten in the way.
  9. I don't really EXPECT anything anymore because I feel like strong expectations lead to disappointment. I make some guesses here and there, but I've been proven wrong for years so lol. What I hope to see is Kairi and Riku's new outfits and a trailer with more plot in it surrounding the trio from Destiny Islands. I know we'll see a video of some kind because of the information on the website/the fact that the event is called Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater. But as to the content of that video, we'll have to find out.
  10. Sora's old necklace is really bulky and honestly when I used to wear my accurate to game size necklace everyday, it hit me in the face whenever I was in gym class or went on a ride at a fair. I now only wear it for cosplay & wear a smaller one for casual purposes. Making it smaller is adding to his 'athletic' design that they were going for. His actual charm isn't any smaller so it's easy to think he just swapped out the chain so he'd stop getting hit in the face . To be honest it doesn't feel that pleasant when it hits you in the chest, either.
  11. You and me both. But I really want to see Kairi, too. That's what it seemed like they were saying around E3, but we'll have to wait & see!
  12. The Disney Event Live page for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater has updated with a new Kingdom Hearts III promotional image, as well as more information surrounding the event which will take place prior to D23 Expo Japan 2015 on November 3, 2015. New Kingdom Hearts III information is confirmed to appear at this event. You can view the promotional images below. The updates speak of a talk show with special guests, promising that the show will be a special experience for fans of the Kingdom Hearts series. Below is a translation of the new additions provided by KH13 News Team member soraspromise: Below the event summary and details, there is also information about a new Sora Play Arts Kai figure. This figure features Sora in his Kingdom Hearts II Final Form Drive outfit and comes with both the Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades, as well as a wide variety of exchangeable hands in different positions. The figure will be sold for 9,800 yen exclusively at the event, with only 999 available. Update: Yoko Shimomura, composer of the Kingdom Hearts series will be attending the Kingdom Hearts D23 Fan Event along with Hiroyuki Nakayama, who is known to have worked on the Kingdom Hearts series before as a performer and arranger for such titles as Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. They will be performing a live piano performance at the Kingdom Hearts D23 Fan Event. Click here to view the article
  13. Interesting... I would love it if Sora & Kairi are 17 and Riku was 18 in KH3. It would help me not feel so old hahah. I'll have to play through KH3D again soon. I planned to do it shortly before KH3 comes out but who knows when that'll be... More than likely I'll definitely play through it again if I get accepted to do a KH3 related panel at my local anime convention.
  14. Even though I am kind of tired of Agrabah, I would love to see Aladdin & Jasmin getting married & the plot of The King of Thieves in general. Maybe some allusions to Sora's own dad since he was only mentioned in BBS?? lol. I honestly have a headcanon that Sora's dad died when he was fairly young (like 8 or 9) and that the reason Sora wears his crown necklace is because of his dad. But to be honest his mom only has 2 speaking lines and it was unnecessary to have both of his parents speak so it could be very possible that he's still alive.
  15. The 13 year thing would make sense, but do you recall where it was said DDD was a year after KH2? I know RE:Coded was almost immediately after KH2 and so I was under the impression that DDD was slightly after the events of RE:Coded.
  16. I agree with the fourth wall thing being problematic but I think it at most, it would just be like a joke of Sora saying to Donald and Goofy "They're video game characters? THAT'S SO COOL." and like it's only ironic to the audience but they don't realize what's going on. I really wish that Sora would have made a cameo in Wreck it Ralph instead. But I guess maybe they didn't so it could be a world in KH3. Who knows.
  17. Thanks! Apparently I've reached my daily quota for positive votes but your post is just as liked and appreciated as the others lol.
  18. I'm special enough to have a THE in front of my name??? haha. I considered Sony Vegas but the student version of Adobe Creative Cloud was $19.99 with all of adobe's applications at my fingertips so I just had to go with that. Even though all I do with photoshop is make gifs for tumblr and I don't even really know how to use After Effects lol. Plus a lot of the jobs I'm applying for want me to have experience with premiere pro so I guess it worked out nicely.
  19. 'Ello! I saw a post that they were looking for News Team members on tumblr and made an account to apply. I'm still sort of a trial-member at the moment.
  20. I think it's a very cool and unique idea. I think it definitely shows the trust that Disney has with Square-Enix. I hope that they'll maybe play a video clip of Tadashi for Sora & the gang to see since he can't be there physically.
