  1. I apologize for the long overdue update. It's been a while since I've written a chapter for this story. I'll try to get it done as soon as possible.
  2. Despite the fact that my back hurt after Kingda Ka, I got a good thrill. So that again, I guess.
  3. A gimmick is a feature in a product that is generally used to attract attention to it or make it seem more interesting when it's really just that; a feature used to attract attention. Innovation is bringing something new and creative to the table that works and is successful.
  4. While the purge is annoying, understand that it's likely not the YouTube team's fault that it's happening. They seemed to have no idea what was going on, so we can't exactly pin the problem on them. They said they're working on a fix, so we just have to trust them for now.
  5. In case the issue happens again, you know how to properly end programs, right? I forget how it works on Android tablets, but you either double tap the home button or hold it down. You'll see a list of open programs and you simply swipe them out, which closes them.
  6. I AM ANGRY AT YOUTUBE!!! ((( YESTERDAY, I HAD 0 SUBS. NOW... I HAVE 0 SUBS! WHAT IS WITH YOUTUBE'S SYSTEM?
  7. I'm pretty certain that whatever strength your medal is at right now (minus the boosts you may get from the slot you place it in for your Keyblade) is the strength your party members will see your shared medal as.
  8. Nomura already stated that the release date will be mere days apart from Japan's release for other countries.
  9. Admittedly, it did feel a lot smoother on the New 3DS but still felt choppy at times. Don't forget that gameplay was locked at 30FPS for most, if not all, of the handheld titles. This means that DDD could not have possibly gotten to 60FPS, and at most it was at 30FPS.
  10. Ohhh, no my friend. DDD was far from the smoothest title in the series. Sometimes it dropped to about 15 FPS or lower in certain places where there were a lot of enemies.
  11. It's not a glitch, haha. It's a special event where all quests are 1 AP for a week to commemorate the European release of Unchained X.
  12. I just hope it's leagues better than this E3. I was kind of let down this year. (Hideo Kojima's new game was pretty cool though)
  13. I'm actually not sure if your post was serious or not, but in any case... Releasing these ports would have no effect on KH3's progress as the HD Remixes have not impacted its development at all (direct quote from Tai Yasue, Square Enix Presents). I see no problem with more games before KH3, especially if it doesn't slow it down.
  14. Here, I'll break it down simpler. FPS stands for Frames Per Second. This can also be referred to as framerate. An individual frame is like a picture that the machine creates and displays on your screen. So, if you were at 1 FPS, you'd essentially be seeing one image every second. (This would be an extremely laggy, or slow, experience) 30 FPS is the standard framerate for most KH games (except for DDDHD, which will run at a very smooth 60 FPS) and creates 30 pictures every second that you play the game. This is what allows the game to animate every movement taking place in the models or environment. While 30 FPS is standard, it's also a bit choppy at times because of the subtle but present jumps between frames which make it look less smooth than 60 FPS. Sometimes, when entering an area especially crowded with models or environments, the graphics card (which handles all of these changes) can get a little overwhelmed and create less frames per second to compensate for the amount of data involved. A 60 FPS experience would essentially look like it's moving at a normal speed like in real life. I hope that cleared things up.
  15. Their focus has always been on KH3. The HD Remixes have not had any effect on its progress whatsoever. Tai Yasue, one of the directors/co-directors confirmed this in a recent Square Enix Presents interview.
  16. I'd be shocked because it doesn't really seem like Nomura's style. Especially after everything that's happened, I don't think they'd just throw in a past love interest for Xehanort.
  17. I would very much like this to happen. 1.5 and 2.5 (while 1.5 wasn't as much of a culprit, it did have its issues) were somewhat sloppy/rushed ports, especially 2.5 which had numerous glitches, crashes, etc. Not to mention the load times were much slower than their original counterparts, which is never a good thing for a remaster of a video game. If they took their time to fix all of these problems and improve the load times, we could have HD remasters of the games on the same console as 2.8 and KH3, which I think would be awesome. Yasue himself said in Square Enix Presents that DDDHD had the most effort put into it compared to 1.5 and 2.5. This would be an opportunity to make all of the HD remasters good ports and clean up all the bugs, problems, etc. that need to be fixed.
  18. Yes, but in English it's called Counter Blast for BBS.
  19. Okay. Twitter recommended someone you don't want to follow. I don't see the big deal. lol
  20. The only food in my thoughts right now is the brownies I just baked. But, yes, this is a nice idea.
  21. If this is actually true, I'd lose all respect for Nomura and his storytelling abilities.
  22. Just today, Dean released his new analysis for the entire Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 trailer. I have to say, I think he went the most into detail and did very well with the video. You should check it out, as there is likely something you missed that he points out.
  23. Well, you're right about 2.8 being drowned in the sea of trailers. Another factor, however, is that Square could very well have many other games lined up for the event which does not allow 2.8 to be shown at the event. Sometimes, time slots are just too stuffed to show everything there and Square has a lot of big titles for E3 from what I understand.
