  1. Your resolve is admirable. However, if you draw that blade... I will show you how brittle those convictions really are.
  2. I'm relatively new here, but a warm welcome back all the same
  3. I know how you feel. I unfortunately made the switch as I was about to be three episodes behind and wanted my fix. Sucks. They were doing so well with the simuldubs! In regards to the last episode though:
  4. Sonic Mania is going to be a blast! Already have it purchased on Steam waiting for release. Sound track sounds epic thus far. Can not wait!
  5. For me, he's just plain awful, even with aggressive settings. I haven't retried KH2 with a settings change to see if there were changes made to his AI, but each time from what I remember (regardless of settings) he waits most of the time for critical status which pretty much helps no one. Its even worse how both AI's priorities healing item management with second regard to leader priority. God forbid you set them up with an expensive healing item. All in all though, I've learned to rely on them a lot less as you get better. Goofy at least gives a good cover though.
  6. Very nice dude Very fun rendition. I'll have to listen to it again on my real system to get a vision on the full mix as my laptop speaker's aren't doing this song justice. Good job thus far!
  7. Sorry for the late reply btw. I was busy getting things ready to introduce and promote Project Kingdom XIII at a local comic convention.
  8. At the moment, I'm playing Tales of Bersaria. Been taking me forever because I'm streaming it as well. But I think I'm nearly done ^_^. That aside, I still have Horizon Zero Dawn sitting there looking at me with discontent lol (pretty much, I'm not even fully through the opening sequences yet ). I also got the KH 1.5 + 2.5 bundle so I'm reliving the series all over again, and also considering I've never played any of the in between games.
  9. While essentially just a glorified teaser track to introduce Project Kingdom XIII (http://pkxiii.com), it still is a pretty exciting one! It's based off of "End of the World" by Yoko Shimomura. ENJOY! https://soundcloud.com/keyjayhd/to-the-edge-of-oblivion-kingdom-hearts
  10. UPDATE [07/23/2017]: I've officially just launched the website for Project Kingdom XIII! Be sure to view on your PC/Mac for a special movie. http://pkxiii.com Also yes, I do realize the name is also "Pixie". Wasn't intended but nice. Heck, maybe Tinker Bell should be our mascot .
  11. Yep! I'm all ready to go. I play my PC a lot more though atm. That will change though lol. What's on your game play list right now? Rather, what do you have ATM?
  12. BTW, are you super excited for KH3 yet?! Can't wait
  13. Hmmm... Disney: 1. Emperor Kuzco, Kronk, and Yzma (because why have they not by now o_0) 2. Milo and Stich 3. Robin Hood (because maybe Fox Sora might be a thing lol) 4. Darkwing Duck (because firetruck YEAH) 5. Cruella de Vil (here me out. If we can do more Lion King esk stages, then surely we can have a riveting chase scene with a Heartless (or whatever) possessed motor vehicle or something with a Sora Dalmatian. Might be a bit "quick timey" though. Lesser case, we have her as part of a deeper involvement with the 101 Dalmatian collectable game.) 6. Baloo, Bagheera, Kah, King Louie, and Sher Kan (see above and umm....because he's a firetrucking bear and he's a firetrucking panther . Need I say more?!) 7. (Bonus...probably as a DLC level) Willy Wonka (because the Chocolate Factory stage might be kinda awesome) Square Enix: 1. Ramza Beoulve (FFT) 2. Somebody from FFXV I agree. I mean come on! The scenes practically paint themselves thanks to the Ignis meme. 3. (Digging deep here) Marina (Mischief Makers) - Yes, this game belongs to Enix back in the day. Look it up! Maybe as a cameo or secret boss of sorts in a playful way. 4. Kefka 5. Chrono or Frog 6. Lightning and Sazh (why not I guess. I hear her character got better on the games I haven't played) 7. (Bonus) Einhander pilot, or against Einhander pilot as gummy ship mini game. Might be a bit weird looking at it at that perspective though. Commence super shader for that portion lol.
  14. Hey not bad dude! Was a very pleasing and delightful listen. Some constructive criticism I guess, some notes on the trombone were a bit off on the solos (around 1:00 and 3:00), but those were few and far between and not distracting to the overall performance. Just something to take care of. Mix wise, sounded good on my laptop (haven't had a chance to listen through proper speakers or headphones yet), but I think what would help in some areas (aka the trombone and some of the piano hits) is just a little more reverb; would give a nice spread on the mix a little. Overall, not bad bro. Thumbs up
  15. Ex. While just using the first part of the song, Standard Sing, then in pianissimo, and in forte chest, then forte head, then crescendo to end of song, then decrescendo, then in staccato, then intonating between staccato and legato while keeping it pianissimo, THEN doing all the above in each scale degree. All the above will help with breathing control, pitch control, and awareness of dynamics.
  16. Pitch yes definitely, but a combination of pitch and dynamics across a scale range can be pretty difficult. Combines those with hannon and you have quite the vocal work out. I guess in this case, its not what you sing, its how you sing it. Heck, you can make a complex practice out of "Merry had a Little Lamb" if you wanted to.
  17. True. I'm not sure if my full comment above was posted, but I did mention aspects of scale practice along with hannon (traditionally piano exercises but great vocal exercises too to practice dynamics and breathing). Also mentioned practicing each exercise using head and chest voice.
  18. I will say some of my arrangement experience comes from the mountains of covers I had to make for bands over the years, but if I had to relate that to vocals to get similar experience, listen to a lot of instrumentals and sing along parts of the melody and create new harmonies as you sing. So say the song is in Fmaj, try singing the 3rds and 5ths above the root key and creating your own harmonies; its a nice practice. This may or may not work depending on how good your ear is. In...
  19. Wow! Tight work good sir! Loved your solo work and your tone is very clean though far from simple (see what I did there? lol) Glad I ran into this
