I don't know what the right word is it almost feels like there was a sudden different main writer after that point. Yeah the character reactions can make sense but it's not characterization Kingdom Hearts has ever expressed interest in having before Like Sora is alone I'm worthless scene or aquas PTSD. But I don't know about sora thinking he has low self worth either. He isn't a character that thinks less of himself or anything, he's just a guy that will do everything to protect others at the cost of himself, which is a very different issue.

Seeing worth in other people while not being able to perceive your own doesn't make you a hypocrite it just means he doesnt have a lot of self worth- which is a separate issue

I mean yeah that's always a little bit weird but I don't get why two or three cut scenes in the entire game would render an outfit customization feature pointless

And I am not sure how they will make that work for world specific outfits either, unless they make them all customizable or those just don't get anything

If there are pre-rendered cutscenes again then I don't see the point of doing this as it will just revert back to Sora's default outfit
