The afterlife had already issues in X-2 because X-2 established that the world falls apart and I wish they wouldn't have added this part because they are just repeating plotpoints. X should never have gotten a sequel

But I know people don't care about the actual story of the novel they just want to sensationalize it.

And whatever magic brought him back is why the afterlife is kind of going haywire at least it's implied Presumably intended to follow up on whatever continuation they originally planned
