Does The New Trailer Silence Nay-Sayers?

Recommended Posts

After the last trailer we heard a lot of worries about the character models. A lot of people seemed to be under the impression that they wouldnt look any better and it was already a huge disappointment to some. Ill admit, Terra didnt look great, but I knew it would be fixed.

Everything looks amazing in the trailer! They seemed to have fixed whatever lighting problem that was giving them a shiny plastic look.

Have people changed their outlook on 0.2 BBS based off of this trailer? Do people still have problems with the character models?

We're basically playing in the graphics that were used for KH1 and KH2 opening and ending. That alone is quite amazing to take in. That opening though, especially the beginning of the trailer, was so incredibly detailed. If this is what they have for a game that's only a world-length long, you can imagine how awesome UE4 Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to look.

The graphics in this trailer do look a lot better than in the E3 trailer which is a great relief. They still need a bit of tweaking though. There's still a bit of a plastic like look to the characters and their surroundings which is a bit off putting. If they can apply some of the techniques they used in the KH X Back Cover Scenes I think it'll be perfect. They aren't that far off from one another so it seems possible. The pre-rendered scenes were flawless however, which has always been a strong point for Square Enix.
