Yes, All the Bravest and the Spirits Within and Mystic Quest are the worst mistakes, Final Fantasy VII is getting a lot of attention.

 

But i´m confused with the V and VI iOS Ports.

Jared pretty much summed up my relationship with the series with this video by explaining his own: I give it a ton of crap, but only because it holds so much meaning to me. Glad to see that one of (if not my #1) favorite YouTube channels agrees with me there.

I agree with most of it except for the part about the FFVII compilation and I never played FF Tactics so I don't really care if it gets a sequel or not,but I'll play it someday

Good video lol, I disagree about the FF7 thing though and he seems like a tactics fanboy. Of course it can't be a final fantasy top 10 without someone hating on the 13 trilogy.

for a while the VI iOS port wouldn't allow you to play it unless you're online which is stupid

Eh the music for that game was honestly really forgettable with the exception of two battle themes

In terms of games its true that beside Crisis Core not much good come out of it(I like Advent Children and Last Order FFVII is also pretty good) but its great to see Cloud in Smash bros or Kingdom Hearts,its nice that he gets cameos in other FF games.Cloud is a gaming icon so its not really different then Mario or Link or Rachet and Clank having tons of games

Cuz if you remember my reaction last year I fangasmed and screamed like a little bitch when Cloud was revealed for Smash.It was literally the most hyped trailer in my entire life

Tactics is pretty popular. FFVII overshadowed it, but it still has a pretty big following and it's arguably the most popular FF spin-off of all time, with the only rival I can think of being Dissidia. The world of Ivalice originated in Tactics, and it's been used for other games, even one of the main series Final Fantasy games. The subgenre of tactical/strategy RPGs has also made a huge resurgence lately, so making a new FF Tactics would be a pretty good idea for Square to make. Given how much he loves Tactics, I would say it's reasonable that this was a point on his list.

 

As for the director, that would be Yasumi Matsuno.

Most of the stuff, I agree with here except for his opinion of King's Knight being canon to Final Fnatasy XV. I think that's genius for Square Enix to revive a dormant intellectual property without having a "I Am Setsuna" situation with the intellectual property.

I just find it so ironically jarring because Kingdom Hearts was originally Disney x Final Fantasy. Again, I'm not against his opinion, he just doesn't say why. Doesn't hurt to give a reason as to why.

As I said, he's never had a video that would give him space to explain. If he did a full review on one of the games then he'd give his reasoning, he's a really detailed reviewer. He only ever brought up his opinion on the series in his E3 videos, and it would be weird if he just stopped everything to talk all about why he dislikes the series. He had a lot of other things to talk about.
