Playing the old Harry Potter games again

Posted

Now harry we are going to learn you how to jump XDDD

The third game is my favorite but it was also the very first HP game I ever played

Featured Replies

HP1
"Now, let's try jumping!"
"We're going to teach you how to climb!"
"You're getting the hang of this!"

HP2
"To Jump, run to the ledge and press the right mouse button."
"Harry, you need to get over to this ledge over here!"
"Harry!"

It just seems like Fred and George have far more patience with Harry than Ron did. :P

Harry Potter 1 for PS1 scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

Harry Potter 1 for PS1 scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

The prisoner of azkaban game creaped me out when I was a kid. Playing on my PC and than the dementors... Or the PS2 ooh got I was so scared I couldn't move in the games.

Philosopher's Stone:

PS1: Not too hard to get 100%, it's a quick one xD

PS2: Don't remember much about it, not sure if I even completed it 100% xD

Chamber of Secrets:

PS1: F***. THAT. STEALTH. MISSION.

PS2: F***. EVERY. NIGHT. STAGE. Completed 100% xD

PC: Man, this was a fun one, definitely my favourite HP game xD The section of escaping the Slytherin Common Room was a bit bull though

Prisioner of Azkaban:

PS2: Blind playthroughs of this game will make you rage xD

Goblet Of Fire:

PS2: It's a weird one, but it's definitely rewarding to get those best cards to power up Harry, Ron and Hermione xD

Oh God, I loved the first HP game on the PS1 (different from the PC version afaik).

I feel so nostalgic thinking about it. I can't even remember how many times I replayed it back then. I always finished one savefile then proceeded on doing all the Quidditch matches in the end. Thinking about it just makes me think "childhood"

I never played the 2nd one but I did play the 3rd, never really gave me the same feeling though...

I played the 4th one but didn't like it at all sadly.

Hp 1 on the PS1 was my fav , always 100 percent the game . I still remember when I was a child , im always afraid of going into the dungeon to get the fireflies for snape. Also  Flipendo

I played HP 1 on the GBA, and I just loved it back in the day. I'd get into battles just so I could listen to the music (obviously before YouTube was a common thing to do). Looking back I think that the game lacked in many areas, but back then it was my all-time favorite and I spent so many hours on it.

i remember enjoying the first 3 PS2 HP games. funny how similar they are to the Zelda games. i feel like if you looked over the gameplay for the entire series of HP games, you'd find a pattern between what sort of gameplay they went with and what was most popular at the time.

i believe over the course of the games, they had

-Zelda-esque, dungeon explorations

-Co-op mission based levels

-Open world exploration

and

-Third Person Shooting

1. HP2 on PS2

2. HP5 on PS3

3. HP6 on PS3

HP2 did got very great graphics and lovely boss battles with great music!

HP3 was also great but the game was too short.

I played the 4th one but didn't like it at all sadly.

Oh man, me and mom love the first three HP games!  We have all three of these for both the PS2 and PC.  Ah, old times~  My mom still plays these though; the second one for the PS2 is her favorite.  I personally like the third one for the PC the best.
