Kingdom Hearts III - Bring Arts Sora Available in June for Japan; August 2017 for North America

Posted

A six inch PVC figurine of Sora from Kingdom Hearts III will be available June 17th, 2017 for the Japanese audience.

A number of Sora's poses from the game can be recreated, according to the official Square Enix e-Store for Japan the model attempts to replicate the in-game CG. Along with Sora and his new Keyblade (name unknown as of this article), the Bring Arts features the Two Shot Blasters (unofficial name), a replacement face and six replacement hands. The figurine is priced at $61, £48 or €57 including tax and can be purchased here, however AmiAmi has listed the figurine at a price of $45, £36 or €42. Please be sure to double check AmiAmi for any extra costs such as shipping.

You can view the Bring Arts Sora below.

UPDATE: The Kingdom Hearts III Sora Bring Arts figure is now available for pre-order on the North American Square Enix store. It has an approximate release of August 2017 and is available at a price of $69.99 USD.

You can check out the official English description below.

This action figure of Sora, the protagonist of KINGDOM HEARTS III, has been re-created with great detail even though it stands at only six inches tall. This easy-to-carry figure is so compact it fits right in the palm of your hands!

With a wide range of motion in the articulated joints, you can recreate action poses and scenes from the game. Sora’s Keyblade, which comes in two separate forms, as well as plenty of other interchangeable hands and face parts are included with the figure to make him even more fun to pose.

Paintwork that faithfully recreates the in-game CG, such as the crisp contrast of colors, creates a small but impressive figure.

Figure includes display stand.

Play Arts are a lot smaller than Play Arts Kai.

Well, I'm not figure expert, but I don't know if some of you know about this.

A friend tagged me at my facebook about sora Kingdom Hearts 3 playarts, when I looked at the figure, something bothering me. Here's the preview :

And here's one more :

For the comparison with the play arts kai, here's the link of the play arts kai from square enix store :

https://store.na.square-enix.com/product/413437/kingdom-hearts-iii-play-arts-kai-sora

The differences from the playarts kai :

1.The platform. The newest one is heart shaped. And playarts kai is hexagon shaped (?)

2.Optional head. The play arts kai doesn't have any optional heads (you can say it can't be replaced), the The newest one (from the two links above) can be replaced. And the optional head is included.

3. It's not pricey like play arts kai.

Do you have any idea about this new figure of sora kingdom hearts 3?

Maybe they are separate models??

  • One is the a model from the Play Arts Kai series
  • and the other is from the Bring Arts series

Did they really change his pants color in the newest screen?Seems a little strange for the figure not to follow suit.

This figurine was revealed at TGS so it's not based off of the bestest looking version of Sora I guess. The figurine is being released 2 days after E3 2017 for Japan xD:O

So basically, it's a smaller version of the Kingdom Hearts III Play Art Kai with a switchable head isn't it ? And it's called "Bring art" instead of "Play art"

I'm waiting for more infos but I really miss the point of this figurine. Well, I do actually. For those who hadn't got the chance to pick up the KH III Play art Kai, it's a good alternative.

Maybe, I'm missing something here.

Still, the price seem pretty accessible... But, that's until you add the taxes. Even tho I got the Play Art kai, if this one got a nice particularity I'll pick it up for sure.

Does anyone know how to get the keyblade into Sora's hand on the original figure? The keyblade hand seems impossible to use (it's the only one I haven't been able to put the weapon in for).

Ah. I think that too. And also, my friend told me it was bring arts. I'm not sure what it is (maybe the same as figma things). I wonder if SE has had known about this.

Ah, thanks for enlightening us with this, Master Kenpachi!

So, Sora's getting another figure version of himself, eh? Interesting! But when they release figures of me, then we'll talk! :)

Nice. I like it.

When pigs fly.

I'm pretty content with my Play Arts figure, but there are certain things that I like about the Bring Arts version too.

What to do, what to do...

I feel like this is an attempt to replace all the old KH2 Sora figures that people "bring" with them.

I have every play arts kai including (d23ff in box) and theres already 7 soras!! Please do other characters sqaure!!! Aqua terra ven or some villains if u absolutly need popular ones use xemnas (i wouldnt be so hyped for xehnort "old coot"jks)
