We all know that Master Eraqus will reappear in Kingdom Hearts III. Well, at least in flashbacks. So that brings to question. Should Mark Hamill voice him again, despite Eraqus' younger appearance?

Mark Hamill loves voice acting work, unless he's too tied up with Star Wars, I don't see why he can't reprise his role as Master Eraqus.

If he can pull off a younger sounding Eraqus then I say sure, he should if he's up for it. 

 

Personally though, I'd prefer him to reprise his role as the Eraqus we saw in BBS, and then get someone else to voice a younger aged Eraqus, like we saw in one of the old E3 KHIII trailers. 

IF they bring him back in his older state. There is no guarantee nor confirmation (though there are some out there that will make one up to be right) that he will come back in his older form, but if so, I believe Mark Hamill will reprise his role. We know we will see Young Eraqus; that's a given.

always love to hear old mark doing some voices. I like it mostly because I hope to hear him doing something that sound similar to the Joker from batman the animated series

I hope he will. He was awesome as Eraqus .

Young Xehanort has a different voice actor than Master Xehanort, so I wouldn't want Hamill for the younger incarnation, no. It's been a long time since he's sounded anything like Luke Skywalker =P

Oh, it'd definitely be a delight if Mark Hamill returned to reprise Eraqus! He did a fantastic job in Birth By Sleep, and I, for one, would be more than excited to have him back in the Kingdom Hearts series! I can definitely see Eraqus's older self in flashback cutscenes, thus giving Hamill the opportunity to voice some lines, ya know?

 

I hope Mark returns!

To be exact, Master Eraqus' body was more or less destroyed when he was struck down by Master Xehanort.  However, his heart "survived" and is taking refuge within Terra's heart, as heavily hinted at in that "heart to heart" dialogue between Terra and MX, sometime after Terra lost control of his body.  That was in the "Fragmentary Passage" secret ending for BBSFM, and is shown just before Aqua's Secret Episode.

 

Does the existence of ME's heart mean he will return to his original form in KH3?  Possibly, but nothing has been confirmed about who will be saved, and especially how they will be saved, by presumably Sora.  The Keyblade to Return People's Hearts is all we really have to go at this point.  This special Keyblade may be used to restore ME, but we really don't know how it will work.  So much mystery, so much speculation.
