Orbis. A planet Earth that is 3x times the size of ours. A unique environment filled with countries and lands owned by societies known as Clans with each having a different style of living their daily lives. The most notable of these Clans are the Technos, which is the most advanced Clan. However, some Clans will have to face the consequences of their past...
And it is up to you and your allies...
To join together...And change the in-changeable...
To make the impossible possible...
To chart the uncharted lands...
And bring truth to the untrue...

Welcome to Final Fantasy Z! And for those who joined the original, welcome back.
Now for the rules:
1. RESPECT THE RULES!
2. Please keep the rating PG-13 and stay true to your character.
3. You can play up to 2 characters.
4. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT be OP.
5. Please, please, PLEASE stay true to the Final Fantasy setting of this RP. I want it to have the feel of the FF series as much as possible.
6. Respect each other in this RP and if you have a problem with a person, settle it outside.
7. Let me lead this story thoroughly and how I have it set. You can add your own characters' stories in some sections, but if you want a bigger focus let me know through the PMs.
8. Have fun with this concept! This is to be enjoyed by RPers and Final Fantasy fans alike.
9. Characters MUST BE ORIGINAL!
Now to explain clans:
Clans are what makes up the majority of Orbis. They are a variety of societies that have and believe in different cultures and different lifestyles. Not only do these clans affect a character's lifestyle, but also the way they fight and the equipment they use. Each person on Orbis belongs to a Clan whether they are born in it or choose that clan.
Here are the Clans that can be chosen:
Technos Clan - This clan specializes in advanced technology, living in a heavy-tech based Metropolis. The energy this Clan uses is from their own Crystal. Without it, nothing would be able to function. This technology can be used in battle or transportation such as Flash Bombs or Flying Skates. Their leader is Finis Locus, a man who believes that technology is the future not just for the Technos clan, but for all of Orbis.
Anthros Clan - A unique Clan that stay aloof from other Clans because of their set belief in "nature provides". They are made up of a race called Anthros, which are anthropomorphic multi-colored animal like beings that can do what the average human can do. Most Anthros are very knowledgeable when it comes to the world's living state, can tell what weather might occur by winds, skilled in archery, and can use their animal abilities to their advantage. The Anthros Clan has a strong dislike towards technology as it defies the purpose and environment of the planet.
Medivals Clan - A Clan that mainly takes inspiration from the Dark Ages. It is filled with knights, mages, dragons, kings, ect. There are multiple kingdoms in this clan and each one is ruled by a King and/or Queen. Although, the entire Clan's leader is called Lord.
Arabias Clan - A Arabian based Clan that is known for their tactics of thievery. This Clan can be entertained by belly dances, Chocobo races, sword fighting and other forms. They do not get along well with other Clans due to them being thieves. The only Clan that can cooperate with them is the Western Clan. Their leader is Ali Baba, a proud, but generous thief willing to tell stories of his wild adventures.
Below the clan's home lives the Vipers, anthropomorphic female snakes that works with the Arabias, but want some riches in return.
The Pinnae Clan: A clan that lives on a sacred Island up in the clouds. Fairies and even Mermaids inhabit that island. The clan is made up of Humanoid people called Harpies, who develop white wings on their backs. A Harpie who has multiple wings is called a Prodigy. Their leader is Grand Highwind, a giant Harpie who watches over them. A Harpie can either live up in the clouds or live down near the ground, which is rare for a Harpie.
The Pinnae Clan's style of combat is usually focused on combining Wind Magic with Martial arts, allowing them to create new and unique spells with physical combat and magic. Some Harpies are Bards, playing songs with harps, flutes, and even lutes that could boost speed and attack. Some Harpies are skilled in archery, rivaling the Anthros' skill in archery. For Prodigies, they are born with the ability of using Holy magic, but must learn how to control and utilize it first.
Also, for a Harpie to live on land, the Harpie would have to fall down from the sky before his or her wings are even developed( or of course, just fly down there to check it out). If that Harpie can perform enough good deeds and prove it's worthiness, a bell will ring, and the Harpie will earn his/her wings, which may grow enough to allow him/her to fly depending on his/her actions.
The Western Clan: This clan is based on Old Western American novels, movies, and settings. This clan is usually placed in a old country styled town with horses, cowboys, cowgirls, bars, trains, wooden buildings, and such. The groups are mostly seen riding on their horses through the outside to explore, look for treasure, do jobs, or just do it. This clan's fighting style is either close and personal or long-ranged. Most of the members of this clan are Gunners. Gunners use different types of Ammo based on the elements like Fire, Ice, Wind, lighting, ect. Depending on the type of gun, the shots might be quick, but not strong or strong, but slow to shoot. Some members use their fists to knock their opponents out quickly. They depend more on upper body strength. Unlike other clans, the West Clan are quite cooperative with the Arabias Clan.
The Pirate Clan - Of course, the Pirate Clan is well....Pirates. Although, this clan doesn't have a specific home. They mostly claim the Great Sea as their home. The members of this clan are most likely to be in a ship sailing across the ocean in search for treasure and more crewmates. The members follow the orders of their captain, doing what he or she commands. Any denial, and that crewmate will...*ahem* WALK THE PLANK, ARRG!!
*ahem* I couldn't help myself. Anyways, this clan fights with sabers and guns. They are the only clan that is not familiar with any type of magic. They can adapt quickly to any environment, allowing them to quickly think and act fast. The Pirate Clan are Rivals to the Arabias Clan due to their similar desires to find or steal any type of treasure or "booty" they may find.
Riskies Clan - A clan mostly filled with Cait Siths that like to gamble in a Las Vegas like city far away from the other clans. Most notable "gamblers" are Gatsby, their leader, and two big shots George and Lennie.
Also, there is a country called the Cities where people from all clans are welcomed there. It is styled like a regular developed city
