oh boy this came unexpected. I'm in school right now during lunch so i'll just make this quick: I don't know what to say towards this reveal. I mean it looks super awesome, sonic Fans have dreamed to do something like this so making their own OC characters featured in a Sonic is now possible but at the same time it just feels strange to me. Like is the gameplay going to be customizable, the Voice of the character and the personality? If thats true then i feel like Sonic Forces is gonna be a Blast (literally) but again it feels really strange to me. I'll give SEGA a pat on the back for trying something new at least so i'll just have to play the game to see how the Gameplay works.

Oh ok i wasn't too keen with this idea, it's ok to make custom characters and at least gives you the chance of making other species aside of hedgehogs. Like the red wolf or the green cat. I would do a dog though.

Let's all have a moment of silence for anyone who seriously thought the new character would be Bubsy.

I will colour my OC orange and name him Bubsy. He will always be Bubsy to me.

RIP Baymax.

But seriously, I'm surprised, excited and worried all at the same time.

Now our beloved Chris-Chan can finally make all his Sonichu dreams come true.

This proves without a shadow (ha) of a doubt that Sega knows exactly what they're doing. This game just got a lot more interesting in all the right ways.

What are the odds that the custom hero will be completely silent, like Classic Sonic?

i'm hoping it gives you the option to give your OC it's voice. If the OC character is silent then Modern Sonic may be the only character that will talk which may make the game a little boring but we'll have to wait and see.

Same. Character creation is obviously awesome, but I'm still unsure on the gameplay. It looks decent enough from the small clip they showed and I like the idea of equipping different gear to get through levels in unique ways (encouraging replayability is really smart) but there's too many details they haven't released for me too get genuinely excited. Once they explain/show how this third playstyle is gonna work and how it's different than the other two, I'll be more invested, I'm sure.

Ehhhh, I've still got my doubts. Classic Sonic gameplay still looks noticeably worse than it was in Generations (and tbh I didn't even think it was all that great then either), Wisp powers are back (booooo) and like I said above, Original the Character gameplay is too vague at this point for me to draw any realistic expectations out of it. Still really excited about the game though! This new reveal has a lot of cool potential behind it, and I really hope Sonic Team can fulfill it.

Ehhhh, I've still got my doubts.

Ehhhh, I don't care, I'm hyped.

I feel like this is designed for an online play feature
