You guys know how Pride Lands is deconfirmed for KH3? Well, what if WAS going to be in it? I could see an original plot taking place between the first and second movies, kind of like BH6 and Toy Story. It would revolve around Scar having an incomplete Nobody due to his weak will. The incomplete Nobody, named Soul Symbiont, is a fractured Dusk that creates a second Scar ghost by tracking down Scar’s influence on the Pride Lands and latches itself to it, kind of like Venom’s symbiotes. In battle, Scar’s ghost would serve as the Soul Symbiont’s shield, and then you’d fight the Soul Symbiont itself once Scar’s ghost’s HP (which isn’t very high; only half a bar) was depleted.

 

What do you think of that idea?

It's a pretty badass and unique take on the Nobody concept, and it could work. But if Pride Lands was in Kingdom Hearts III, I'd love for the plot of Simba's Pride to take central stage, because I believe the whole drama with Kovu and Kiara and the legacy of Scar and the way things changed from the first to second films would definitely make for interesting storytelling in Kingdom Hearts III!

I like the concept but not the world. To be honest, the sole purpose of Scar's ghost was give Sora a reason to return to a whiny Simba who more or less had summoned the ghost in his insecurity and I did not like this story at all. First of all, there was no real explanation what his ghost actually was. The only explanation would be that he was somehow what Simba was seeing of Mufasa but that's about it.

 

To be honest, I wouldn't like Pride Lands in KH again since it would make the original plot pointless once more. I don't mind if one world does it, but if there are too many I would question why they did not take one of the more suitable movies to replace it after it's more or less irrelevant anyway. Too many gimmicky worlds are a waste of time in my opinion, especially when they have so many loose ends to tie in KH3.

 

But your idea itself isn't bad. They could definitely use something similar in other worlds to give the game some variety, just not Pride Lands. I love the movie but the way they did that world in KH2 was atrocious and it was understandable they had to do it like this. But I'd like KH3 to be more original plot-oriented again, which Pride Lands wouldn't really allow without making it ridiculous from the persepctive I see it.

It's not confirmed that Pride lands WOULDN'T return but Halloween Town was.

And yes, I'd definitely see Zira as a boss, and ya know, since in the film we see that she has resentment over Simba and hateful spite towards him and his pride, I think that the negative emotions present would make the Unversed the central enemies we find in that world, or at least, the ones that pop up the most in addition to any Heartless or Nobodies that would appear wandering around! But with Zira's pure hatred, she has enough merit that the Unversed would be drawn to her negativity!
