Posted January 17, 20187 yr Well, that's pretty much a given, but I'm alluding to DDD's opening; do you think her absence in it was just to make the secret ending revealing her more of a surprise, or do you think it's purposeful and has more meaning than that?
January 18, 20187 yr I think it was more of an element of surprise so we'd all get hyped up the moment she was revealed to be a Guardian Of Light! I really hope she doesn't get kidnapped, cuz I really want Kairi to shine in Kingdom Hearts III! Enough with the backseat, she deserves the spotlight!
January 18, 20187 yr Kidnapped cuz only with a keyblade of heart is possible to open the doors of the Kingdom Hearts (Xehanort's Report VI on BBS) so yeah, she'll be kidnapped.
January 18, 20187 yr I’m pretty sure it was just to keep a surprise. Kairi obviously needs to fight for herself in KH3, and there’s no way Nomura’s going to have her be kidnapped AGAIN.
January 29, 20187 yr Obviously to make us surprised, plus, not all of the members that had appeared in the opening were confirmed to be Guardians of Light anyways, so not having her wouldn't be surprising because until now, we are yet to fully know the remaining seats for the Guardians of Light
