So, it would seem there shall not be a new trailer and//or world reveal for "'Kingdom Hearts 3'" at Japan Expo 2018.  Is anyone even a little disappointed by this lack of new information?

Not really... I mean, a lot of people, me included, are looking forward to new information but it's barely been a month since E3 and the interviews are just coming to a close now.

 

Not to mention that Japan Expo does not seem to have an extraordinary history of KH news. While it was not impossible for new information to be showcased, I don't think the event is too focused on the gaming industry but rather Japan as a whole. Games are present, of course, but so are tons of other things surrounding Anime/Manga for example and it may not gain the same exposition. Sure, the same could be said about Jump Festa, but that one is taking place in SE's home country.

 

So yeah, I'm not really disappointed. Quite frankly, it would have surprised me if they had showed something groundbreaking. The game may be getting closer to release and they still have some things to show but it feels like releasing another trailer a month after the last is a bit much. I've rarely seen games get that many trailers, even close to their release.

We got a lot in the month of June. Three trailers (four if you count the orchestra trailer), two new world reveals, the full Japanese theme song, release date, plot information, many interviews etc. That's quite a bit so it's not like we are in a drought so I was not expecting much. But I would not worry too much about it. They did say we have more trailers coming our way in the coming months, so one will surely pop up sometime I'm gonna guess either August or September.

Nope. I was hoping for a trailer, but I wasn't expecting one. 

Nope. Don't expect a new trailer until TGS.

MAYBE Gamescom? KH doesn't have a strong record there, but Square Enix does, so who knows?

I hope they at least fixed the floaty ness of the game people were have issues with. Otherwise I hope they show more English content in the future because I am tired of Japan getting first because of some sort of bias. Just waiting for English translations is a pain in the neck to deal. I just love kingdom hearts
