I don't understand that people get hyped of the idea that Xigbar turns out to betray master Xehanort and become the TRUE villian of the franchise because after 16 years fighting Xehanort YEAH I want the last hour be spend on Xigbar explaining how he was the true master mind all along.
I don't mind that Xigbar will have a bigger role in Kingdom Hearts 3 and turn out to be a traitor which could be interesting and there seems to be more going on with him... But there is no force on earth that can make me believe that Xigbar planned it all.
''You see Sora I planned this! I planned that Xehanort would plan all of this, I planned that he planned to put his heart in Terra which led to your world eventually getting swallowed by the darkness which of course was my doing even though I wasn't there in KH1 but wait (shows ''Remastered'' scene of KH1 that he was always there), I planned that Aqua will go to the realm of Darkness. And you know the best part is Xehanort didn't suspect a thing! even when Terra shot his dark energy beam at my eye I found a way around it! I knew that Xehanort would time travel BECAUSE I gave him the information long ago I was also the one behind the first Keyblade War! I knew everything that was gonna happen and the best part is... I was almost never there!''
And than he goes on for 15 hours blablabla.
I don't mind the idea that Xigbar has a bigger role and that he will betray Xehanort but it bothers me that people think that making him the main villian plot twist is a good idea. Xehanort had to fight us multiple times he had to do all the hard work but Xigbar comes just walking in with Keyblade in hand giving us a exposition scene on how everything actually works? no just no... Do people wanna see that Xehanort's plan failling or to show that he isn't perfect well guess what he had to adjust his plans and move down the list for his wielders.
But he maybe Nomura can do it right but I really doubt that.
