That decision being to segregate it from the base game, rather than integrate it into the original story

There are only really 2 things I didn’t like about Re Mind, and I otherwise loved it. One was how much of a retread the first half was, and the other was the odd lack of polish.

I honestly though the bad audio issue was something on my end at first

Terra preferred to use his gamer headset

and the volume levels during the replica fight doesn’t help

I didn't say KH3 is bad, but the presentation, characterisation and plot are mediocre beyond belief. I would say collectively it's the worst in the series if A) Union cross didn't exist and 2) the fact that SDG have superb interactions. unfortunately it's not enough to overcome the rest of the failings

Also can we just stop and ponder why the cutscene before that is a stupidly hype remix of the replica theme and then just reuses the one from before?

I think BBS has pretty bad characterisation and writing

Though not as bad as KH3's

And BBS has fine writing, just the worst voice acting in the series
