@Pokefan297 frankly, I disagree entirely. 0.2 visually has bad graphics that look instantly outdated,, however the animations are tight and there are no awkward lines or pauses. It has interesting cinematography and uses different angles to make even boring scenes dynamic. You will never find a scene in 0.2 where there is no movement. I can think of almost 10 scenes in KH3 that are entirely characters standing or sitting with not even an idle animation in place, Also notice I said 0.2 not KH2, but even so, KH2 had higher cutscene direction than anything in KH3 and Remind with the Sephiroth vs Cloud and Tifa citscene alone even if it is fish lips for a lot of the game

Ofc, KH3 improves over KH2 on general graphics and animation that's a given frankly

@2 quid is good I can see you there with Cloud vs Sephiroth, and 0.2, especially that bit during the Enchanted Dominion part where Aqua kept bumping into illusions of Terra and Ventus.

but nothing in those games match the cinematography of that one scene in KH2, so while KH2 of course had a lot of lows, it's one high is higher than KH3s consistency

in 2020 I'd prefer consistency but I also know KH is capable of better than what KH3 gave me

But the awkward silence and fish lips just really take me out of it, the worst defender being the Pride Lands cutscenes.

Kh3’s cutscenes feel like they’re wasting a lot of time that they don’t need to

I totally understand

it is hard to go back to old games and they are for the most part intensely boring to look at

Like, that part where Lion Sora was dancing with Timone and Pumba to Hakuna Matata hurt my soul

I try and judge stuff based off of their era

Like as a kid I doubt any of us were like “ugh these static mouths, ah jeez man what a heckin shame”

Yeah, the PS2 is still an old console

Now with me saying that, I truly wish they could’ve removed a lot of the static faced cutscenes in the PS3 OR 4 rereleases

I like to believe that the static faces do add a sort of charm though.

Like the time Sora was visibly shook when Roxas came out of Sora's body.

Speaking of Roxas, I still want a game where he takes the mark of mastery exam

As I think we have pointed out before Olympus definitely does feel different from the rest of the game somehow

KH2.9 really was real
