The thing is, it seems like they wanted to end the saga while also teasing a new one at the same time

I remember exiting the game after the final world and when the cutscene with terra replayed I was like 'Did my game not save??????' so I skipped cutscene and ended up in a boss fight

But they didn't do it in a very good way

Imo if you are going to tease the next game while trying to conclude a very important arc then you should be subtle about it but 3 dedicated entire intervals and org. world visits to it. And the way certain things were phrased felt like it was going to be relevant to the final battle but ended up not being relevant at all. It was just a bit of a mess.

At this point connah is just dumping their unpopular opinions on us
