well he's right about the kairi thing. but ppl are still allowed to dislike kairi for not doing certain things in kh3

The video isn't about people not being able to dislike Kairi tho,just that people are getting wild about it

Heck,the video isn't eve saying "The writing is top notch,y'all wild" and he even says Kairi isn't his favorite character to begin with

And listen,I am also disappointed I didn't see Kairi fight beyond the Xion and Saix bit,but I'm also not about to ignore what Kairi did get to do,whatever memes there are aside ? I can acknowledge that what happened is poor in writing,but not be like "Kairi is just useless and awfully written,straight up"

I hope she gets her own game. She deserves it

Same,basically. I'm with people there,and once again.. I am indeed disappointed, and I'm well aware of how it was basically a trope that occured

I only like Kairi in 1. She's just not a character I like in any other game because he character is solely centered around Sora

But I'm not about to say Kairi is the worse or that she's the most useless ever... Looking at Kairi overall as a character,it's true.. In KH3,this is the most she's done overall. It's not even a thing of me trying to defend KH3

It's just that.. yeah. This is kinda the most she's done as a character,and I would hope it goes somewhere

I also think Nomura should stop with developing Riku. Riku's development feels like it's done

And relationship with Sora,yeah,it is one noted,I'm aware

But I'm going to say it again.. Kairi,as a character,has done the most in this game compared to past games,if we look at it overall,favorite games aside.. And this is not a defense of the writing either that I'm making.

It's fine if people want to hate Kairi,I guess, but it's also fine for me to defend her because I rather this fandom not go back to the 2000s where people were wild,especially on the fanfic side of things

I'd also prefer if people weren't adamant about proving "Kairi is very useless" when someone wants to openly say "Hey,I don't think so" or "I still like Kairi"

Well I mean until she actual accomplishes something without becoming a plot device I won't be defending her.

Kairi is both important and not important at the same time

She's the Schrodinger's cat at times in the plot,yeah... because again,yeah.. she was fridged(though is it really fridging when she comes back to life,least if the ending is 100% the truth and not something else going on..)

But at the same time,she held Sora's body together with her light

Which is.. pretty important.. and she fought Xion and Saix.. yyeah,i get it,maybe there should have been a cutscene to make it more "memorable",but.. That's still a thing that was happening,so I don't know ?
