Because she was out cold throughout most of the game.

But in 2 she’s kidnapped. And we’re told she’s kidnapped.

I mean it makes sense.

Riku and Sora were getting Stronger in Kh1 while she was in a coma.

And yeah,that's fine... And that video,that's also fine. Though, that's not the sole reasoning behind hate.. Some people hate her for other reasons that are a little less than reasonable,like say... "She tried to make Sora straight"... Looking at the fandom overallthere's a lot of reasons beyond just "Well,I just find her boring"

Not to mention she made some links with HPO in kh2

Maybe Kairi’s Heart gained power through Sora Leveling up in Kh1.

And She lost it when Namine was created from Sora released her heart from his body.

That’s why Namine is very powerful.

I mean,considering Sora apparently came out strong from Roxas doingall the work..

Seriosuly tho,Sora is off napping and Roxas is off fighting for his literal existance..

How's that fair to Roxas... ?

I just want her to be in a game that doesn't involve Sora. Explore this character and stop treating her like she's the video game equivalent of that one girl in a Shonen trio.

Yeah,I get it.. I also want that, because guess what, I wanted to see her actually fight Xehanort.

And I didn't get that,and at the time, I was more angry at that moment and the writing,but now,I've kinda mellowed out because while yeah.. it's once again played into the trope, I see reason within the plot itself to say "Okay... I didn't liekw hat happened to Kairi, but I could never hate Kairi like that and still like her, and I understand why that happened."

Roxas was used for his entire existence by both the organization and Diz. All because he had Sora’s Power.

However, Kairi is still on that list of favorites. But what I've been saying, don't make the assumption she's my number 1

Sea salt trio was basically fighting for their lives(or existance,,either or can be applicable)

That said,I like Kairi,but.. Thing is,she's not my favorite, and niether is she part of my favorite trio

That goes to Xion or Roxas,and Sea salt trio is my favorite trio

However, Kairi is still on that list of favorites. But what I've been saying, don't make the assumption she's my number 1

This character has potential links to other characters. She has a past in Radiant Garden that's never fully explored. She has a heart of pure light. She has a lot of people stronger than her that she wants to protect. Actually how about she starts fighting for herself rather than others. What if that draws her close to darkness or something. Idk do something with the character. I actually cant do this discussion right now I'm about to help a bloody bear get honey.

Yeah,I know all of that.. And there's also her grandmother too, if you recall

Though, it'd be weird to see her fight for just herself, when so many characters in the series fight for others sakes,namely their friends.. She can still be fighting for someone, but still be independent, ala, like Riku

As much as I want to see KH expand more on its immediate universe (rg and TT and scala etc) I don't see it happening because of the flipping fairytales

We'll see with the next game, but it's still gonna be great regardless
