  • KH3 had a pretty well written story imo The only pacing issues are how fast you finish up Pirates and BH6 tbh

the funny thing is kh2 did the same. but in kh2 it was just chip and dale that told you where you have to go

and kh2 did it better

See, if they used the phone as a guide to say 'Oh sora you need to visit Radiant Garden'
Instead of
'Oh sora we're in radiant garden, you just stay in the gummi ship and not do anything important for 20 hours'

It would have been fine

the gummiphone is nice for small interactions between the characters but it shouldn't keep sora away from the plot

Exactly, and also the synthesis menu is annoying too xD

But that's besides the point.

even ffxv does this phone stuff better :linkusCry:

I think KH3 could have been easily the best in the series if it was structured more like KH1 and 2

Ooof

I expected that Nomura moves literally all of the story parts to the end of the game, but the ending part was too short to compensate the pacing xD

>.> exactly lol

if they would add 2-3 more hours of content to the ending part it would be fine for me

and maybe org fights in the disney worlds

Having so much of the story near the end isn't even too bad. I'd only suggest a few things:
Make castle oblivion/land of departure completely playable so that it feels much harder to save Ventus. Also the keyhole for this world isn't at the door its behind the chair pain

Make a short radiant garden episode for Riku and mickey, and a longer one for Sora because he still wants to find a way save roxas and thinks about going to ansem the wise's study.

I'd definitely like org fights in Disney worlds

Vanitas definitely should have been playable

In monstropolis I mean

radiant garden would be the easiest to add bc riku already has a moveset

and the assets are in the game

maybe they could also tell more about the story of lea, isa and skuld

Yeah, if they wanted to add that on top that's fine too

But at least finish telling the kh3 story first xD

the whole thing with skuld is the same mistake nomura did back in kh2

"hey lea and roxas are good friends but no one understands their motivation" -> Days

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt like that

It didn't feel like they were friends to me when I originally played kh2

Actually I only started liking axel in KH3

Fking he'll the Lea and Isa friendship is so underdeveloped

Before 3 we have one cutscene of them together with Ventus and half of it is Isa berating Lea while they look towards Radiant Garden.

I don't get 'we have to look for a dark haired girl vibes' from that staring contest either.

Me either

But the girl reason doesn't bother me sooo much

There's far more egregious things pain

It doesn't bother me either but when you make a game and expect me to care about two characters' relationship I would need an incentive

Like isa being roxas' friend

Yeah, true enough

Omg that argument is perfect

Frankly I don't care an iota about whatever relationship isa and lea have
