Well, in terms of finale, they said they would offer it. If it didn't feel like a proper finale to you, chances are they felt differently, so it's not that they broke a promise. It's more that they delivered something which is fine in their eyes but not in yours. And I didn't feel like it was a proper finale either but I wouldn't say they broke a promise... Phew.
