Crit makes the good parts shine in combat mechanics. Although it also shows up some of the less good parts like animation I frames. I feel it's more good than bad though. And older games did this. KH2 for example showed how OP reflect is

I can't say much about Kh1FM, since that added stuff solely for the fact you needed them for the difficulty, so you can't really say "Proud mode showed how OP aeroga was" since it wans't t here... ?
