Part of the reason I did it

You probably don't need to upgrade but it does help to survive through mistakes I guess

I wish there were more islands

and that some had impact on the story

I accidentally initiated the battle near shipwreck because I forgot it happens.

But I beat so it's cool

Just wanted that save point

Which is better to lvl

I ignored Favourite Deputy entirely because I had issues even on proud with getting hit it the transform

Is form change extender worth it though?

That's the passive ability it gets

You know what I'm using mostly happy gear now I'll upgrade it

I have Ever After up to the second last lvl

Yeah happy gear I would go with

And with that I'm taking a break.

I think deputy's hammer is fantastic for mob fights

But its drill form leaves a lot to be desired

Yeah I dislike the drill

Tbh I can crowd control much better atm with basic flowmotion after airstepping to an enemy

The dodge it has is pretty bad too

Airstepping is so good on crit?

Yeah

I should have made more use of it

water Cores are much easier with airstep

since magic has been nerfed

Have you fought the lich yet?

the only time I used favorite deputy past like the first 20 mins of having it was for luck strike

Nah I'm at PoTC

The lich gets obliterated by airstepping

It's pretty fun

Yeah, that's what I did on my Proud run

The bastard ran away from me too many times so had to spam Airstepping

He also gets destroyed by Mirage Staff, it's quite fun

best way to win is to just not lock on to him

since you can adjust to his movements more easily that way

I forget do we have combo master by that fight?

Yeah

You get it pretty early on

On crit I think it's there already?

Yeah

On crit you have it at the very start
