It was

On the Square conference

Although technically was showed off earlier

WatchMojo is a pile of crap

Still have no idea why it's relevant

Because

Kh3 comes back to the 1920s. The age of silent movies

And ff7r improves with voices

And kh goes back to the dark age

still theres a chance for a sokai kiss in the dlc. I hope.

or maybe rokushi.

i want her to stare me down like that

Next game - DDD 2.0
Evidence - SoRiku being in Japan like the buddybros they are

What's the secret ending getting at? Well break it down first - Obviously the shot at the start with the two puddles on the floor coloured red and blue represent Sora and Riku respectively. Interestingly enough the two puddles are aligned in the same way that Yozora's eyes are.

From our perspective the red is on the right and the blue is on the left, which is obviously reversed for Yozora himself, which I find slightly odd considering Sora is the traditional Hero ™ and therefore should be aligned on the right hand side, but this could be getting at how Riku is really Sora's right hand man and is more important now than ever.

We then get a shot of a car - which I find interesting that Nomura deemed it worthy of focus because it seems to convey the message that this will be a fantasy based on reality

Versus intensifies

And then we get the sweeping shots of the city skyline, with some various images on the billboards like the FF7 planet logo and the crown on Sora's necklace. However I don't care all that much for this imagery and someone more dedicated than I can look into it if they so wish. I'd like to know their findings if they ever do. And then of course we get Yozora and the MoM.

Now what does this indicate for the plot of the next game? The most obvious assumption is that Sora is playing the Reapers game however maybe that's not quite it (as others have said it is an incredibly simple conclusion to reach, but then again, all of KH3 ended up being incredibly simple in comparison to the theories that had been floating around for ages, so I'll provide one alternative even if I don't put much stock in it).

Theory: Sora has been shunted into another worldline, and he's actually not dead at all.

?

Evidence: Nomura is a hack Nomura notoriuosly loves using his new inventions

A worldline where verum rex isn't just a game perhaps?

Or at least Yozora is real

And it would be the worldline where the MoM shoved himself into

And the plot would be simple enough, Sora needs rescuing and Riku helps him out, Yozora is an ally and the end of the game shows how the MoM is the True Big Bad

@Mupstun You'd better read all of that now

Making me put in effort for such a useless secret ending

This is why I don't like it, it's far too easy to guess all these things

Obligatory versus gif

Also, a point I was trying to make but it was too busy to do it properly. KH1 and 2 secret endings ended up being actual scenes. I mean I suppose this one could but it doesn't look like one scene, more a collection of scenes

Yeah, I get that

looks more like a summary tbh of what will happen next

Yeah

Something else that I don't like about it, it's incredibly undynamic
